Ce livret résulte d’une collaboration menée avec le photographe belge Pierre Buch, dans le cadre du projet européen Terra [In]cognita. Architectures de terre en Europe. Il rassemble 60 photographies – 20 d’entre elles figurant dans une exposition itinérante – d’architecture traditionnelle et contemporaine réalisées dans les quatre pays partenaires du projet (France, Italie, Espagne et Portugal). Pierre Buch y livre son regard, celui d’un homme sensible à la matière, aux formes et aux lignes graphiques de l’architecture de terre: une façon de découvrir ou redécouvrir un matériau du passé, promesse d’avenir. This booklet is the outcome of a collaborative work with the Belgian photographer Pierre Buch, within the framework of the European project Terra [In]cognita. Earthen Architecture in Europe. It gathers 60 photographs – 20 of them being part of a travelling exhibition – of traditional and contemporary architecture taken throughout France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, the four project partner countries. Pierre Buch delivers his own look, of a man sensitive to material, shapes and graphic lines of earthen architecture: a way to discover or rediscover this material of the past, looking ahead to the future.
