Themen und Entdeckungen geplant, die Sie begleiten werden. Zum 100. Geburtstag des Bauhaus, das 1919 in Weimar gegründet wurde, ist eben das Geburtstagsalbum „My Bauhaus / Mein Bauhaus“ bei Edition Detail erschienen – mit 100 Gratulationen von Architektinnen und Architekten aus aller Welt. Außerdem werden wir im Magazin-Teil jeder Ausgabe die Frage aufgreifen, welches Erbe die AvantgardeInstitution der Architektur von heute hinterlassen hat. Die Essays von internationalen Architekturkritikern werfen kritische Schlaglichter auf die aktuelle Relevanz des Bauhaus in verschiedenen Ländern und Kontinenten. To mark the 100th birthday of the Bauhaus, which was founded in Weimar in 1919, the birthday album entitled “My Bauhaus / Mein Bauhaus” has just been published by Edition Detail – with 100 messages of congratulation from architects all over the world. eitrag zum Bauhaus-Erbe in den USA, den er mit einem B Appell verbindet. Unsere beiden Konzept-Hefte im März und September werden Gebäudetypologien für die Forschung und Lehre sowie für das Wohnen im ländlichen Raum vorstellen. Außerdem konzentrieren wir uns in der ersten Jahreshälfte auf die Schwerpunktthemen Farbe und Textur, Erschließung sowie Bauen mit Stein. Zum Thema Naturstein wird im Herbst 2019 ein neuer Atlas bei Edition Detail erscheinen. Für die zweite Jahreshälfte haben wir Hefte zu Architektur am Wasser, zu Hybridkonstruktionen und Baustoffen aus der Natur sowie Umbauten, Sanierung und Erweiterungen geplant. Außerdem werden wir wie gehabt zusätzlich zweimal unser Green Special in die Detail integrieren und im Mai und November über aktuelle Konzepte des nachhaltigen Bauens berichten. Nicht zuletzt kommt mit dem Detail-Abo wieder zweimal das Sonderheft Detail inside. Wir legen unser Augenmerk dabei auf spannende Retail-Projekte sowie Hotels. Mit diesem Ausblick auf ein volles Programm wünscht Ihnen das gesamte Detail-Redaktionsteam alles Gute für 2019. Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie gemeinsam mit uns durch das neue Jahr gehen.
critics highlight the current relevance of the Bauhaus in different countries and on different continents. The first one in this issue is by Aaron Betsky (page 6), with an article on the Bauhaus heritage in the USA, which he combines with an appeal. Our two concept issues in March and September will present building typologies for research and teaching as well as for rural living. In the first six months, we will also concentrate on some key issues: colour and texture, development, and building with stone. In autumn 2019, a new atlas on the topic of natural stone will be published by Edition Detail. For the second half of the year, we have planned booklets on waterfront architecture, hybrid constructions and natural building materials as well as on conversions, renovation and extensions. Moreover, we will integrate our Green Special twice in Detail as usual and, in May and November, will report on current concepts of sustainable building. Last but not least, the Special Detail booklet will be included twice in the regularly distributed Detail magazine again, whereby we will be focusing on exciting retail projects and hotels. With this full schedule for the near future, the entire editorial team of Detail wishes you all the best for 2019. We will be pleased for you to join us in our architectural explorations in the course of the coming new year.
