Una de las preocupaciones de Alejandro Giammattei, presidente de Guatemala, ha sido los índices de desnutrición que existen en el país, por lo que desde su campaña como candidato a la presidencia anunció que trazaría un plan. “Combatir la desnutrición será una de nuestras prioridades, juntos lograremos que nuestros niños y jóvenes tengan un futuro diferente”, expresó en campaña el Presidente. Una de sus primeras acciones como gobernante fue la
estrategia de la Gran Cruzada Nacional por la Desnutrición (GCNN). A 22 meses de su gobierno, se han dado a conocer los resultados que van desde apoyar la nutrición, priorizando programas como la Bolsa Social y Comedor Social hasta la instalación de huertos familiares. El Presidente reconoce que ha empezado un gran camino. “La desnutrición es uno de los flagelos que más agobian a nuestros niños, y uno de los grandes retos es luchar contra eso”, afirmó el jefe de Estado.

La medición del estado nutricional de niños en los 114 municipios de 10 departamentos priorizados por la Gran Cruzada Nacional por la Nutrición (GCNN) avanza en Guatemala, ya que está por llegarse al 50 por ciento del total de los hogares previstos para la muestra. La información permitirá medir el impacto de las acciones contra la desnutrición y redefinir, si es necesario, la estrategia para luchar contra este lastre social. Se espera que la recolección de datos concluya el 15 de diciembre, y contar así con resultados preliminares al finalizar el año.

Entre las piezas prehispánicas se puede observar cómo los mayas realizaban el tallado en piedra durante esa época.
El Museo Nacional de Arte de Guatemala resguarda grandes tesoros de hasta 3000 años de riqueza cultural. En su primera fase, este museo cuenta con siete salas de exposición y 90 piezas de las épocas Prehispánica, Colonial y Republicana.

El museo está abierto de martes a domingo, y para marzo de 2022 se tiene previsto inaugurar la segunda fase del mencionado recinto histórico.

Among the prehispanic pieces, you can see how the Mayans carved the stone, contemplate the magic of their culture, and see masks, axes, and mortuary figures, among others. These pieces were rescued from different archaeological sites within the country. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, and the second phase of the historic site is scheduled to open in March 2022.

“Cuando creamos películas, aprendemos a observar y a darnos cuenta de los matices de la vida”, expresó Müller.
En Italia Este sería solo el comienzo, pues filmaría grandes proyectos e incluso retrataría un atentado que dejó a su hermano sin audición, Septiembre, un llanto en silencio ( 2017 ).
Su película Nebaj , en donde participa el actor mexicano Fernando Cautle, se estrenó en el Festival de Cine de Cefalu, en Italia. Además, esa misma cinta fue nominada en el South Film and Arts Academy Festival.
Kenneth Müller is a Guatemalan filmmaker, who from a young age, showed interest in art. However, a university project made his life take a turn of 180 degrees. Asimismo ocupará la Vicepresidencia de la XXVII Conferencia General de dicho organismo, según dio a conocer el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores. La elección se alcanzó gracias a iniciativas presentadas, donde se reafirma la vocación de mantener la paz en el ámbito regional, continental e internacional.
