For the first time, since we were established in 1974, we are pleased to be able to offer a full boarding provision to our students from September 2022. In a brand new premises with 116 rooms just next door to the College our students will be able to take advantage of all that Central London has to offer in a home away from home. We talked to our Founder and Co-Principal, Mr David Game, and our Head of Boarding, Brett Suverkrop, to find out more.

How to get into University Our UCAS Support Deciding which university to go to and what to study for your degree are huge life decisions. Any students who want to enter UK Further Education need to apply through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). Here at University Foundation Programme, we offer every student a full UCAS advisory service. We believe the level of support we offer our foundation students is really quite special and so are the people behind it. Joanne Scarr is UFP’s director of studies. Her job is to support students with their university applications. She knows exactly what’s needed to get people to their first-choice destination and onto a degree course that will truly suit them. We chatted to Joanne about her time with UFP and about the UCAS process.

Meet the Artist Grace Art University of the Arts London (UAL)

After finishing her A Levels at David Game College Grace went onto study at the University of the Arts London (UAL) Camberwell campus. Amongst great company, in 2021 almost a 1/3 of our Art & Design students went onto study at UAL. UAL is a world Top 2 university for art and design according to the QS World University Rankings and Europe's largest specialist university for art and design. We talked to Grace about her time at the College and how she would describe her experience studying with us.

New STEM Pathway Launching in September 2022

From September 2022 David Game College is pleased to announce that it will offer students a dedicated STEM pathway, focusing on Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This new pathway will work alongside and support its existing Medical and Lifesciences Pathway, which deals with medical entry, Neuroscience, Genomic Medicine and a wide range of other life science-based subjects.

What’s Cooking? We talked to the “Dark Lord of the Kitchen”, our Canteen Manager, Onat Eksi, about his chef skills, signature dishes and what we can expect from the Boarding Kitchen this September. Originally from Turkey, Onat brings a fusion of flavours to the College canteen, with freshly prepared hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day to keep all our students and staff fed.

The Art of Geopolitics You only have to read articles or listen to the news about the current crisis between Ukraine and Russia to understand the importance of geopolitics in the modern world. Political geography is not formally taught in schools and while discussions about historic and ongoing geopolitical tensions may surface during a geography, history or politics class, students are not often exposed to the complex nature of human geography, foreign policy and geo-economic issues.
