Journal 4 David Adame How do you stay motivated to complete your goal? What can you do to improve your motivation?
Staying motivated for an assignment of this caliber is extremely difficult due to the amount of criticism on will face throughout the course of this quest. However, if one has the determination, will power, and the support of others nothing will get in his or her way. Luckily for me, I have incredible classmates, friends and family who all support my ideas and visions. On the other hand, reading articles about one of my favorite film maker, Mr. Spike Lee himself, also keeps me inspired and motivated. Seeing how he looked past everyone’s criticism and went against all odds, he took on an unorthodox method of making films. He eventually because one the most famous filmmaker of our time. Since I am a rookie, if you will, at filmmaking; Spike Less really keeps me motivated. In addition, the simple fact that I have big dreams on making it big in the film industry as the youngest Latin American filmmaker in the United States. One that takes on the struggles of everyday Latin American citizens. In the end, these are some of the things that have been keeping me motivated throughout the past few weeks.
