Journal 6 David Adame How do others feel about the quest you are taking? Do they approve or disapprove?
Surprisingly many people are very curious as to what and how this video will turn out. Most of my peers are always asking me on the progress of the video and how well it’s going. I occasionally get asked if they could be featured in the video somehow. My response almost always is, “I always need extras; I’ll let you know.” Of course, a lot of people ask me the obvious question of “why?” or “why didn’t you choose an easier quest?” my simple answer to their easy questions is that making a film was the first thing that popped up in my head. I’ve always wanted to do one and it would be fun to make. I would say about 99 percent of people I talk to about my quest approve of my idea and support me. However, that one percent would have to be outsiders who do not want me to succeed. The downers, if you will. Previously I had mentioned some of these downers were some of our obstacles. I believe jealousy fuels their criticism and hatred. Other than that, life is good, the quest is right on track, and everyone feels pretty confident about it.
