Meet the ‘Moana’ movie cast… Moana tells the story of a young and spirited teenager who wants to prove herself as a master pathfinder on a mission to finish her ancestor’s quest.
And while it’s just some months before it is finally released, we finally have a view of the full voice cast and as expected, it is pretty stacked up. Here’s the line up of characters, both lead and supporting:
Auli’i Cravalho She takes on the role of Moana, the lead character in the movie.“She’s got some serious guts,” said Cravalho about her character. “She’s really courageous and beautiful as well.” Heading off on an action-packed voyage, it looks as though Moana is going to meet some truly interesting characters.
This is Cravalho’s only feature film appearance since her career began. But director John Musker has described the voice actress as having a “certain fearlessness in her auditions and callbacks” as well as a “playful, mischievous wit.”
Dwayne Johnson The Rock will be playing the role of demigod Maui. The central intelligence actor and former wrestler was born for this role.

Alan Tudyk The actor is best known for the role of Wash in the movie ‘Firefly’ and ‘Serenity’. But he’s also due to appear in Disney’s Star Wars: Rogue One scheduled for release in December. Alan takes on the voice of the rooster ‘Hei Hei’ in Moana.
