Recap
Fall Rally

On the chilly morning of November 12, our club got on the bus and headed toward Six Flags After doing some last minute practicing on the bus, we got off and headed toward the Golden Bear Theater We had some time before our division’s turn at the theater, so we were able to look around for a bit What immediately struck me when I saw the other divisions was their incredible spirit gear and their friendly attitudes and spirit. The spirit sticks were creative, well-made, and vibrant One spirit stick had a small, clear bucket hanging from a circle, and it was decorated to make it look like a goldfish was swimming around in its bowl every time the spirit stick was moved around Some costumes that really stuck out to me were the following: umbrellas with purple tissue paper trailing behind to imitate jellyfish; a giant, yellow cardboard sword with brown writing to make it giraffe-themed, and hippo onesies Besides these, all of the headbands, bandanas, shirts, and capes were really cute and colorful During our time in the theater, our spirit coordinators led the chants, and everyone yelled as loud as they could It was inspiring watching the other divisions’ chants because everyone was in sync with coordinated hand or foot movements. While we were enjoying Six Flags, I saw competitive, good-natured spirit battles between groups, and we all tried our best to shout whenever som This event was very enjoyable, and I hop

October DCM
Our October DCM doubled as a spirit session to prepare everyone who was planning on going to Fall Rally in November. First, the presidents from various schools in our division gave updates to the rest of the attending members about their clubs Although that day was particularly windy, I was still able to hear everyone participating in the chants We practiced some common cheers and a couple of creative chants created by our spirit coordinators. Despite the cold wind, it was a nice experience, and I honestly enjoyed trying to yell the cheers as loud as I could
Spirit Session 11/11/22

On Veterans Day, we had our last spirit session before Fall Rally Cute sky blue shirts with our mascot, Cinnamoroll, on it were passed out to everyone who bought one Some cute spirit gear like Cinnamoroll headbands and blue bandanas were sold, and pom poms made out of tissue paper were given out for free. We practiced a couple of new chants made by our spirit coordinators I really liked the beat and rhythm of the long fergalicious chant even though I kept on messing up in the second half
