By: Webmaster Johnathan Perez The creation of Rose Parade floats is an intricate and artistic process that combines skilled craftsmanship with creative design. It begins with a structural framework made of steel and chicken wire, forming the basic shape of the float. Teams of volunteers and professionals meticulously apply a variety of materials, such as seeds, flowers, and natural elements, adhering them to the framework with precision. The delicate task of arranging thousands of flowers in vibrant colors follows, transforming the float into a breathtaking display of botanical artistry. The floats are a labor of love, requiring countless hours and a keen attention to detail to ensure they dazzle spectators during the iconic Rose Parade.

By: LTG Maria Gilani During the first weekend of January, I attended Winter Board Training for LTGs at the Historic Santa Maria Inn which is supposedly haunted. I had a great time seeing everyone in one place for the last time before District Convention. It was bittersweet, but that is to be expected. I gained some new knowledge that I will surely take advantage of to use for our amazing division!

By: Division Treasurer Jimena Villafranco Our day in the Quartz Hill Pantry started off with moving the fresh produce boxes outside to the back. We then sorted through the fresh produce to make sure everything was good. After we grabbed the lists of people and sorted out a box or bag full of fresh produce, food cans, juice, Chilli, rice, and dish soap. We then separated the deliveries and pick-ups into different sections. We started with deliveries and then we did pick-ups. After deliveries and pick-ups, we cleaned, finishing our day at the Pantry.
