As the official Transportation Sponsor of CyberKid for 3 consecutive years, Vietnam Airlines once again reaffirms its role and commitment as the national airline to the community in general and to the younger generation of Vietnam in particular. In 2024, with the support of Vietnam Airlines, CyberKid's project development team had the opportunity to implement nonprofit programs reaching over 10,000 children and youth in Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces, along with the chance to participate in initiatives promoting the organization's image and solutions to potential partners across the country.
On April 30, 2024, CyberKid Vietnam and GeoComply successfully completed the project "Raising Awareness of Internet Safety for Children" in Dong Nai province. Over the course of 6 months, the project reached 11,402 students, conducted 288 Cyber Safety classes, and covered 18 elementary and middle schools across Dong Nai province, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. To achieve these impressive milestones, GeoComply’s team of experts worked closely with the project, contributing to the development of lesson plans and providing training on information safety skills for 25 local volunteers.
As part of the 2024 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, CyberKid partnered with the Dong Nai Youth Union, the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Education and Training, and the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to organize cyber safety training classes for students. The program engaged over 500 students from Tran Binh Trong Primary School in Thong Nhat District, Hoa Binh Primary School, and Nguyen Trai Secondary School in Long Khanh City.
The training sessions focused on teaching students how to identify online scams, cyberbullying, and other risks, as well as how to prevent them and use the Internet effectively for learning and personal growth. With age-appropriate content and engaging delivery methods, the program not only helped students raise their awareness and protect themselves online but also laid the groundwork for piloting similar initiatives in other areas of Dong Nai province.
The program was supported by CyberKid's expert team, who provided professional guidance and training, alongside the enthusiastic coordination and implementation by local Youth Union members. This close collaboration between CyberKid and the Youth Union once again underscored the importance of strong partnerships in spreading Internet safety education to every community.

Unique selling poin s
High level of interaction between students and volunteers, students and curriculum content due to the small class size, thereby increasing the ability of students to absorb knowledge.
The reach of impact is widespread, timely, and impactful, delivered in a friendly and age-appropriate way to raise awareness within the community. CyberSchool s impact extends beyond its core beneficiary group of school-aged Children to actively mobilize various stakeholders, including schools, educators, project coordinators, and volunteers, fostering broad societal engagement.
2024 marks a memorable milestone, showcasing the relentless efforts of the CyberSchool team in delivering the “Internet Safety Class” program to students in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau. With the support of schools, teachers, and volunteers, more than 20,000 students were equipped with essential knowledge and skills to protect themselves in the digital environment. This achievement brings the total number of children and youth benefiting from CyberKid’s Internet Safety program to 100,000, affirming the organization’s resilience and strong commitment over the past 4 years.
Notably, CyberKid collaborated with the Dong Nai Youth Union and related agencies, including the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Education and Training, and the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs of Dong Nai Province, to implement the “Protecting and supporting children and students in cyberspace” project in Thong Nhat district and Long Khanh city. Through training sessions conducted by the Dong Nai Youth Union and CyberKid’s volunteer team, over 500 students from 3 schools received practical knowledge on digital safety. The project not only had a direct impact on the students but also established a dynamic network of youth volunteers who play a vital role in spreading positive values throughout
Such achievements stand as a testament to CyberKid's sense of responsibility, unity, and unwavering commitment to creating a safe and civilized cyberspace for children and youth. Moving into 2025, CyberKid aims to expand the Internet Safety program to reach more regions, especially remote, isolated, and island areas. We will enhance collaborations with local organizations, leveraging the dynamism of the Youth Union and volunteers to connect with communities that face limited access to digital education. In parallel, CyberKid will launch a Cyber Safety Training Program for teachers as part of its comprehensive strategy to mobilize societal resources. Teachers will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to identify and address potential online risks, enabling them to act as pioneers in spreading this knowledge to their students. This initiative not only raises awareness among students but also establishes an additional safety barrier, ensuring that those closest to and most supportive of students are adequately prepared to recognize and respond to online threats. Notably, teachers will also receive training in digital psychology, providing them with foundational skills to understand students’ online behaviors and offer psychological first aid when students encounter risks in cyberspace.
Teachers – The steadfast guardians of students’ safety in cyberspace.
"The Internet Safety lesson with CyberKid Vietnam is truly essential and beneficial. After the training session, students will have the right perspective and behavior when using social media, understanding how to interact civilly based on four principles: 'say no,' 'control,' 'report,' and 'restrain.' Issues related to violence and bullying on social media were also actively discussed by the facilitators and Timesers, and many lessons were learned on how to protect themselves in the online space."

Seniors: A new focus in digital safety protection
CyberHero – A pioneering solution connecting generations and protecting seniors
After 4 years of focusing on the protection of children and adolescents online, CyberKid recognizes that seniors are also a vulnerable demographic facing significant risks while using the Internet.
Percentage of Internet users in Vietnam aged 55 and above.* 20%
Percentage of seniors over 55 who have experienced online scams.** 49%
*Statistics from the Ministry of Information and Communications, 2023.
**Survey by Google with 1,248 Vietnamese Internet users on online information security, 2024.
According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Information and Communications, seniors often become targets of online scams, such as impersonation of government agencies, fake prize notifications, urgent money transfer requests, or phishing bank accounts. These dangers not only result in financial losses but also cause deep psychological trauma, leading seniors to lose trust in the online world and hesitate to share or seek help from others due to feelings of shame and fear. Seniors, with their limited access to and use of modern technology, easily fall prey to malicious actors who exploit their trust and lack of knowledge. This not only impacts their quality of life but also poses a significant challenge for families and communities in protecting and supporting this vulnerable group.
CyberHero has been developed as a pioneering initiative, focusing on providing practical knowledge and skills while building a connected community where seniors are protected and supported in the digital world. The uniqueness of the program lies in empowering the younger generation, turning students and young people into "CyberHeroes," who serve as guides, protectors, and connectors for the elderly in their families and communities.
Generation bridge – A journey of children protecting seniors online
ilding on a network of over 3,000 st dent vol nteers, more than 200 partner schools, and h ndreds of tho sands of st dents across the co ntry, CyberKid has la nched the initiative “Generation bridge –Protecting seniors online.” Specifically, the initiative foc ses on
Developing specialized content: The program creates tailored training materials and content designed to help seniors identify and respond to common online risks, incl ding online scams, fake news, and personal information sec rity
Training CyberHeroes: St dents and yo ng people will be eq ipped with the skills and knowledge to become tr sted g ides within their families and comm nities. They will not only help their grandparents se the Internet safely b t also serve as a bridge to help them overcome technological barriers, creating more meaningf l digital experiences.
CyberHero’s objectives for its first year of implementation are as follows
Equip 5,000 seniors with knowledge: Organize g idance sessions and provide s pporting materials to help seniors in two major cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, se the internet safely and confidently in the digital space
Build a network of 500 "CyberHeroes" volunteers: Select and train vol nteers in 10 local comm nities to assist seniors in sing technology and protecting themselves online.
The “Generation bridge – Protecting seniors online” program not only aims to protect the elderly b t also seeks to create a s stainable digital comm nity, where generations work together, sharing responsibilities and b ilding deep connections.
Thro gh the program, yo ng people not only learn how to protect their loved ones online b t also develop an awareness of the val e of connection, love, and family responsibilities in the digital age. This helps them better nderstand their role in b ilding a healthy, safe online environment. The program also reinforces that people, regardless of their age, can contrib te to creating a positive online space. When eq ipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, the yo nger generation can help their grandparents overcome technological barriers while fostering strong intergenerational bonds. This is a way to promote nity and responsibility within the comm nity.
With the active participation of yo ng people, “Generation bridge” brings practical val es to the protection of seniors in the digital space while symbolizing the comm nity spirit, overcoming the challenges of the digital age together.
