HEYKEY-UTIES!

I hope everyone’s been doing well. This month has been very busy for Key Club, as we had RTC and FRS. You can find a recap of RTC on our Instagram and deeper into the newsletter! FRS will be in the next volume of the newsletter. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend either, but I enjoyed seeing all the pictures afterwards! I was there in spirit through the posters I created for my club.

Holiday season is coming up, which is an amazing time to attend service events. Events like Opportunity Village are an amazing way to get into the holiday spirit, while also doing service for others! We have many service opportunities this month, so there are a lot of ways you guys can volunteer. If you have difficulty making it to events, we also have drives and a FreeRice group. See our meeting slides in our Instagram bio to learn more about FreeRice!

Thank you for tuning in this month! Until next time.

Our club volunteered to help with Wilhelm Elementary’s festival. They were in desperate need of volunteers and our volunteers were happy to help facilitate different games and activities.

“We were asked to help with one of our feeder schools' first fall festival. I was stationed at the cornhole and had a great time talking to the kids and teachers. The event was a complete success and we can’t wait to help out again!”

“RTC this year, just like previous years, was fun, inclusive, and engaging even for new members. This year in particular felt better than previous years, as RTC is fortunately growing back to its pre-COVID popularity. As such there were more presenters to learn from, more guests, and more resources used to make the quality of RTC even better. I personally went to a few educational workshops but also had a blast making bracelets and no-sew blankets for charities!”
