VALUE ADDED SERVICES

ENERGY TEAM SUPPORT

Throughout the pre-construction phase of the project, items will be evaluated for their cost impact on the project. With the C&S Energy Team’s support, this evaluation can go one step beyond this first cost consideration. C&S’s energy engineers and certified energy managers (CEMs) analyze facilities’ energy usage and evaluation of energy conservation measures, alter native energy options, utility rate and service class adjustments, utility sub-metering, and power quality metering. The team has expertise in evaluating life cycle costs for our K-12 clients.

If requested, we can provide a life cycle cost comparison and future costs, such as energy and maintenance. LED lighting is a great example of the power of this perspective. When trying to reduce costs, Districts routinely remove LED lighting and select fluorescent fixtures. By simply considering the overall life cycle cost of the LED versus the fluorescents, it is obvious that LED is a much more financially beneficial solution to any District. This is the type of analysis that is available at the District’s request.

COMPUTERIZED MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ( CMMS ) TEAM SUPPORT

Q Ware is a cloud-based CMMS application developed, sold, and supported by the C&S Companies for facility management. The Q Ware team ensures our clients’ success with a seamless on board ing and deployment process. Unlike many CMMS applications we can tailor the software to meet individual clients needs and workflows. Q Ware’s data collection and PM program build service can jump start your PM program with a comprehensive equipment inventory, upload of O&M manuals and the creation of PM schedules.

SUSTAINABILITY FOCUS

Sustainability is no longer just a buzz word, it is rapidly becom ing a way of life. Simply stated, our actions today can dramat ically affect the future. The design and construction industry is undergoing a transformation, incorporating sustainability into a

diverse range of projects. C&S implements sustainable designs and construction processes to greatly improve energy efficiency and reduce the burden on the environment while improving the health, well being, and productivity of end users.
