Create Healthy Boundaries to Renew Your Spirit Do you fall into bed each night physically exhausted, mentally drained and emotionally broken? Do you carry the weight of the world on her shoulders desperately trying to stay strong for everyone else, making sure everyone else’s needs are met before your own?

As you move through the days you juggle work, errands, family, friends and daily activities and chores with care and balance – making sure nothing falls through the cracks, yet find yourself never reaching your full potential in any area.

With such a loving spirit you desire to help both those struggling and loved ones by solving problems and trying to make everyone else happy; regardless of the sacrifice you make for yourself. On the outside it looks as though you have everything together. Your smile says to the world, “Everything is okay. I’ve got this”. Yet, inside don’t feel like that. You go through the daily motions just to get to the next step. The intense chaos within leaves you anxious, stressed and longing for peace. When you are able to honor more of who you are and are not caught up in the daily activities of juggling everything for everyone else, your energy increases, you have clarity of mind, you experience peace and calmness and you are able to enjoy being present in the moment.

Here are a few simple steps to renew your spirit and create healthy boundaries: 1) Call your Energy Back. Sit quietly in lotus position or with your feet flat on the floor. Close your eyes and ask the pieces of you that you left with others, in other spaces or situations to come back to you. Visualize the golden sparks of your energy flying back to you and filling your entire being until all of your energy has returned to you.

2) Say No. Begin saying no to things and people that do not serve you. The word NO is a complete sentence. You do not need to explain or justify to others why you cannot do something with or for them.

3) Date Yourself. Set aside specific times for you every week to do something that you really want to do. What would you like to experience? What is going to nourish your soul? Go to a class, take a hike in nature, dance, get a massage.

4) Define what is important to you. What are your priorities? Why are they important to you? What do they offer you? Keep this written somewhere when something doesn't match your priorities you have the opportunity to say no.

What Happens Outside the Comfort Zone?

Teri Bach, MFT @coachteribach.com Today I’m going to venture a bit away from my usual topic of money. I want to talk about worthiness and deserving. This affects EVERYTHING we do in our lives ~ our relationships with our partner, kids, friends, work, and yes, money!

If you’re thinking right now “I don’t need to read this because I don’t have self-esteem issues”, please stay with me for a bit. If you think and say any of the following, you may have some worthiness or deserving set points:

I’m not smart enough to earn that much I’m not special or unique enough I have a really hard time asking to be paid I worry that people won’t like what I offer We all have an inner set point of how worthy and deserving we are of all the money, rewards and pleasure that are possible for us. This set point is like a thermostat that keeps us balanced at our current level of worthiness.

How can you determine your worthy and deserving set point? Look where you are right now in how worthy and deserving you feel in each of the following:

Your income and overall wealth Physical health Loving and being loved Success Relaxation time Reward Pleasure You are ALWAYS at your set point. So pay attention to anything on the list that feels off balance. Even if you’re happy with your life, when you set a goal and take action, you’ll feel the worthiness stuff come up.

Here are some of the things your internal set point include:

How hard you need to work for your money How much you should earn How much you should save Whether or not you have Debt and how much How much relaxation time you’re allowed How much joy and love you’re allowed How much pleasure you are allowed If one area gets out of balance, another area must get offset in order to restore the balance. For example, if you earn beyond your current set point, you might sabotage your income either by overspending or in some way get rid of the money. Or you might gain weight and feel bad about how you look. Something unconscious will occur to put you back in balance with your set point. Here’s what some of that may sound like:

I procrastinate I’m overwhelmed I can’t decide what to focus on first I can’t relax I’m exhausted I’m so anxious and worried I’m the only one who can do it I’m overcommitted Do any of those sound familiar???? Here are some questions to ask yourself that will show the level of selfesteem and worthiness you thinkyou have and what some of your actions actually reveal:

How kind and compassionate are you to yourself when you’re sick? Do you allow yourself to rest?

Are you allowed to relax after a long day of work without feeling guilty?

Are you allowed to relax on the weekends without feeling guilty or selfish?

Do you often say you’d love to get a massage but never find the time?

How loud is your inner critic?

Guilt is a warning sign that you’ve pushed past your current worthy and deserving set point. How many times do you feel guilty?

The good news is we can raise our set point!!!

Say to yourself:

“I completely deserve to earn $_________” or use whatever area you want to work on.

“I completely deserve to relax all weekend without guilt.”

And notice what comes up – what are those limiting beliefs? And do some tapping on those. Getting rid of the limiting beliefs with EFT Tapping will raise your set point. It’s that easy and you deserve it!!

IN THE WIZARD'S WORDS Terry Romine @terrryromine.com Here we are at the beginning of a new year. What does this new energy hold in store for us? This looks like a major year of transformation. The energy is blasting away old thoughts and programming, and later this year will introduce new, loving energy to replace it. The biggest fears that we have, will be replaced if we do not let those fears consume us. Remember that all is energy, and nothing can destroy who we are as spiritual beings. We are all here for learning and enlightenment, and without the darker forces, we would not appreciate the light that shines through. Remember the yin-yang symbol. Equal parts of Light and Dark. Balancing. Supportive. If not for the crisis presented by the Dark, how would we transpose that into Light?

For me, I plan to watch the progress grow over the next few months. I plan many changes in my own life path and to see major growth as a person and spiritual guide.

We need to open our hearts instead of closing down in fear.

Open hearts bring experiences that are the opportunities to advancement. Be on the lookout for those experiences that change your lives.

They may come at the most unexpected times, but when your hearts sign, take the chance to grow.

It takes forever. The energy for this month is the Princess of Pentacles in the reversed position. If you're feeling blocked, stuck, sluggish, lost in a perpetual waiting game, you're not alone. Brighter days may be coming, but they're not here yet. This period of time is necessary, though. It's time to let what you're not going to need for the next season fall away. When I see this card, I think of erosion. Water or wind gently wearing down rock until it';s smooth, carrying away earth and resettling it. It's a natural process, and a creative one. Did you know that erosion also helps negate global warming? As the soil erodes, it carries carbon with it into wetlands where it can be stored away from the atmosphere. It can cleanse habitats and create new ones for new life. Erosion, it turns out, is pretty cool. (Don't take my word for it.) So let it happen. Settle in and let March work its magic.Take in those experiences that leave you feeling cleansed and ready. It might feel rough and gritty right now, but it should bring about some great new energy moving forward.

This brings us to April and Death (or Rebirth) in the reversed position. This card is one of my favorite depictions of Death. It's less scary, more hopeful. It's not about the loss we experience from moving on, and more about the rebirth, the rising above and new beginnings that await us. It's a phoenix born from its own ashes, but right now it's plunging towards the ground. Have you resisted the eroding effects of March? Have you failed to let go of emotions and habits that are holding you down? Don't do that. We need to let the wind scatter those negative pieces so that some seeds can spread and bloom, and so that we may bloom as well. It's scary to move forward, but we all must do so if we wish for anything to get better. If you feel like you';re plunging, know that it won't be forever. It's hard to reverse this, and you ill get there when you are ready. Don't rush things, but don't resist either. When the time is right, spring will settle in and rebirth will begin. The best you can do is help provide a solid foundation for new life to grow.

The key word guiding us through these next two months is Trust. Have trust in yourself and your process. Don't be afraid if things are feeling like they're not going the way you want them to. It's part of your journey, and you will get there in time. If you're feeling stuck, consider where there's room to make changes or shine some light on the good. If things are wearing you down, remember that they're only creating a new slate for better things to come. And if you find yourself soaring above everything, your soul light and heart full, trust that this is meant to be, and you deserve all of this.

Is it just me, or can spirituality come off as really heavy? I mean, in general, when people talk about being spiritual, or what that looks like in their lives, it's so seeeeeerious.

Rants about what's "right" and what's "wrong," according to a book or theology or tradition. Black and white. Up or down. Left or right. Red or blue. Articles about making your life better through spiritual practices, grown out of the assumption that something in your life is bad/unsatisfying/needs improvement. Solemn discussion about what being a good spiritual person must look like (because of course there's only one way, am I right?).

Hushed voices. Measured words. Fear.

That's the thing at the root of a lot of mainstream spirituality stuff these days, isn't it? Fear. Fear that we're doing it wrong, and so there will be some cosmic consequence. The controls around what Spirit is/means/thinks/does get more airtime than Spirit itself.

I don't think that's entirely true, of course. That's a really broad generalization, and it’s not meant to come off as anything other than an observation. It's just something I've been seeing in my experiences lately.

Perhaps it's because I talk openly about spirituality, meditating on things like mediumship, time, Christ energy, spirit guides, manifestation, and perception to people outside the “spirituality biz.” Maybe it's absolutely unique to me, seeing resistance to laughing with Spirit. Maybe I'm just looking in shadowy places, so I'm seeing shadows. Again and again, I bump into things that reinforce a popular message. Spirit is not meant to be understood.

Mystery commands respect. Respect is solemn.
