FGCNYS District IV Bus Trip To New York Botanical Gardens
CAPITAL DISTRICT - A bus tour to the New York Botanical Gardens on June 15th is open to the public. The tour is sponsored by District IV of the Federated Garden Clubs of NYS (FGCNYS). The highlight of the visit will be 20 of Georgia O’Keefe’s depictions of Hawai’i and a stunning display of Hawaiian Flora on display throughout the gardens. The cost of the tour includes transportation, admission to the gardens, and dinner in Kingston on the way back. Buses leave from Queensbury and Wilton. Albany Institute Of History & Art To Host Regional Craft Beer Event
CAPITAL DISTRICT/ALBANY - On Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 4PM-7PM, the Albany Institute of History & Art will host the seventh annual Hudson Valley Hops, a regional craft beer tasting. Located in downtown Albany, it’s an opportunity for the community to sample the flavors of Capital Region craft brewers, see brewing and distilling artifacts from the Albany Institute’s collection, meet industry experts, and receive a commemorative glass. This year, the fundraiser will feature a session beer invitational contest and more. Tickets are available online at www.albanyinstitute. org, or at the door. Cost in advance is $35 non-members/ $30 members. Cost at the door is $40 non-members/ $35 members.

This handsome man is Roman! He’s a German Shepherd / Rottweiler mix and is turning 1 year old in July. He’s very friendly, loves to play and go for walks! He has lived with another dog his whole life, but is a little nervous meeting others. He’s crate/potty trained, up to date with vaccinations and neutered. He also knows how the commands “sit”, “shake”, “come” and “stay”. Roman is looking for an active family and would make such a wonderful best buddy!
