WATERFORD - The Waterford Columbiettes, Council # 237 is holding a Card Party on Sunday May 19th at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 76 Grace St. (Northside), Waterford, NY. Doors open at Noon and drawings start at 1 PM. Tickets are available at the door. Refreshments are also available. The donation is $4.00. This fund raiser helps the Columbiettes to support underprivileged children and their families as well as transcriptions for the blind. Come join us for an afternoon of giving.

A variety of artists, along with some regionally popular guests artists, will be featured in the 2 day event. The hours run 5 - 9 pm on June 7, with an artist’s reception from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, and from 10 am - 8 pm on June 8. Admission is free. HALFMOON: Post Commander Jim Valenti is pleased to Invite the Public to attend our Annual Memorial Day Ceremony to be held at the American Legion Pavilion at 275 Grooms Rd., on Monday, May 27th at 11-AM. This year’s ceremony will include traditional patriotic elements to include a Color Guard, Rifle salute, and the playing of TAPS by Steve Desadore. The public is urged to attend and participate in this patriotic event to honor those who made the supreme sacrifice in defense of our freedom. Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony.
