LAKE GEORGE – The 10th annual Randy’s Run will be held Saturday, May 21. Proceeds are used to benefit Lake George students. The 5K Run and Walk in memory of Randal Madison will be held at 9am at Lake George Elementary School, Sun Valley Drive, Lake George. Check in will begin at 7:30am and registration will be from 7:30-8:45am. The entry fee is $15 ($12 if you pre-register). Additional information may be obtained from Race Chairperson Wendy Matthews, 798-5794 or wmappraiser@aol.com. Randal Madison, who died unexpectedly in 2001 at age 31 of a brain aneurysm, was a Lake George Elementary School teacher. He grew up in Saratoga Springs and lived in Hudson Falls with his wife and two sons. His colleagues, friends, students and family have set up this run in Madison’s memory. The racecourse starts at Lake George Elementary School and follows the bikeway where Madison ran with his colleagues after school. Last year’s run drew over 200 participants and all 500 elementary school students took part in the Fun Run portion of Randy’s Run during the school day. (P)

WARREN COUNTY – Warren County Agricultural producers have the opportunity to be in-

cluded in a new Warren County Farm Guide. Cornell University Cooperative Extension Warren

County was awarded a New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets grant to develop
