RLT’s ANNUAL MEETING - “CLIMATE CHANGE: WE’VE BEEN HERE BEFORE!” Please join Rensselaer Land Trust (RLT) at their annual meeting on Saturday, December 6th, to learn about their exciting 2014 accomplishments for land conservation and watershed protection in Rensselaer County. The second half of the meeting will include a lecture by Tom Lake, NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program naturalist. Lake’s talk will bring guests back to earlier times in human history when severe climate change forced life on Earth to either adapt or go extinct. SCHODACK TOWN HALL CLOSES for THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY Donna L. Conlin, Schodack Town Clerk, wishes to remind residents of Schodack that the Town Hall Offices, Highway Department and the Schodack Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2014; and Friday, November 28, 2014, for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Town Hall Offices and the Highway Department will resume standard business hours on Monday, December 1, 2014. However, the Schodack Landfill will resume standard business hours on Saturday, November 29th.
