RCIA at ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL Are you someone who is seeking the Lord in their life and wants to know more about the Catholic faith? Anytime is a good time to come forward to express your desire to become a Catholic. The Holy Spirit calls people at different times of the year so, whenever a person is ready to take this step, we’ll be ready to take it with them at St. Michael the Archangel Parish on Williams Road. The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) process is individually designed and includes the candidate/ catechumen meeting regularly with a sponsor, Sister Kate, and also being involved in dismissal catechesis. There are no classes because this is more a journey of the heart than of the mind. Give Sister Kate a call (518-283-6110, X 202) to ask any questions you may have about the process. God is waiting for you! If you know of someone who has expressed some interest in becoming a Catholic, encourage them to stop in the chapel after any of the Masses (Mass times are 4:30pm Saturday, 7:30am and 10am on Sunday). Someone(s) will be there to meet them. No commitment expected…just questions and answers!
