CAPITAL DISTRICT KICKBALL CHAMPIONS The World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA) for the Capital Region held its championship on Thursday, July 7th, at 7:30 pm. In their inaugural season, the WAKA Texas Rangers emerged victorious after John Volks hit a 3 run johnson to solidify the win. Louise Bassette received the Most Valuable Player award and game ball for her brilliance on the mound. The Rangers ended with a 12-2 season record.
