Spring reminds us that change is inevitable. While sometimes difficult and unwanted, Spring can be rejuvenating and inspiring. These next couple months revive our wonder about nature. The reawakening of plants, trees, and vegetation of all varieties. It won’t be long before our garden is popping with greens and yellows.

Crossroads at Northglenn is experiencing change this month. You may not have known this, but Michele Strauch, who you know at Northglenn as the Executive Director, has also been serving all the Crossroads communities as the Regional VicePresident. Now, Michele is getting some relief as Cory Strauch returns to Northglenn as the Executive Director. Michele will focus on the bigger picture, and Cory will lead in the day-to-day operation of Crossroads at Northglenn.

Don’t expect Michele to disappear. You will see her often. Afterall, she has said it so well, that it is you, our residents, that bring her joy. She and Cory, when asked about the change, said they “are energized and honored to continue to provide excellent care, commitment, and a warm smile to our residents. We thank you for making Crossroads part of your family.” One thing we know for sure: it’s time for Betty B. to restock her freezer with ice cream. Cory is back!

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Since the beginning of 2023, Maranatha Volunteers International has already sent more than 900 volunteers to 20+ mission projects in the United States, Canada, Kenya, Peru, India and the Dominican Republic. The group pictured here is from Spencerville, Maryland. They helped build a church in the Dominican Republic. The name of the church is Pescadores de Hombres, which in English, means Fishers of Men, taken from the remark Jesus made to his followers regarding His mission for them. This tradition of “fishing for people,” to teach them the story of God’s love, enduring peace, and desire for humanity’s wholeness, is at the heart of Maranatha’s mission. Building people through the construction of churches, schools and wells. The same team that operates Maranatha, owns and operates Crossroads Senior Living.
