Traveling to the South of France was like coming up for air for our family a chance to recharge, find inspiration, and reconnect with each other Long gone are the days when Louie and I traveled across Europe with a heavy backpack and barely enough money to get by Now, as we explore, there’s a sense of freedom and adventure, even if we don’t speak the language fluently
This trip was all about reacquainting ourselves with the charm of the South of France It’s a place where fascination is everywhere: people-watching, trying new foods, rediscovering old favorites, basking in the sunshine, and marveling at the yachts that dot the coastline especially the super yachts that seem to embody the spirit of the Riviera
There’s something about the warm sea air, the winding oceanfront roads, and that far-from-home feeling that makes us feel alive and more grounded at the same time We’re able to truly unwind, to have those deeper conversations with our girls, talking about our dreams, sharing thoughts from the day, discussing our family values what it means to be curious, to be kind, and how we can make an impact in our world, from our family to our community
We spend time shopping for dinner, cooking together, pouring wine as we listen to the kids laughing and playing, and watching the sunset Each evening, we share what we ’ re grateful for sometimes it’s as simple as a moment from that day, sometimes it’s gratitude for the big things in life Every experience, every sight, every flavor reminds us why travel feels so essential It’s always good to come home, but there’s a special feeling that comes with traveling the world together as if, in a way, it’s home too

Bringing our two girls, Gabi and Mia, along with us to the South of France made this trip even more special
Watching them experience the charm and beauty of France for the first time filled us with joy from their excitement at seeing the stunning coastline to their curiosity as they tried new foods and took in the culture Sharing these moments together, exploring winding streets, people-watching at cafés, and cooking meals as a family, deepened our connection and created memories we’ll always cherish Having them with us to share in the adventure, laughter, and little discoveries made this trip unforgettable

Shopping on Rue François Sibilli was a highlight of our time in St Tropez This famous street is a blend of high fashion, elegance, and Riviera charm, and exploring it with our girls made it even more exciting We wandered past beautifully curated window displays, stepping into boutiques filled with everything from designer clothing to unique accessories that captured the spirit of the Côte d'Azur Each shop had its own personality, and we couldn’t resist stopping at the iconic Dior store to admire both its fashion and architecture The experience felt glamorous yet relaxed, perfectly embodying the effortless luxury that St Tropez is known for It was more than just shopping it was an inspiring, memorable way to soak up the elegance of French style.

The St Tropez food scene is as vibrant as the town itself, blending Provençal flavors with Mediterranean flair From beachside bistros with fresh seafood to bakeries with buttery croissants, every bite reflected the region’s dedication to quality
We enjoyed classics like bouillabaisse and pissaladière, capturing the essence of the Riviera: refined, fresh, and full of flavor Each meal added another memorable layer to our adventure

Our time in Antibes was pure magic a blend of relaxation and discovery Gabi and Mia loved wandering the cobblestone streets, browsing local markets, and taking in the colorful charm of the town Days were spent by the sea, watching yachts drift by, while evenings found us gathered at cozy cafés, sharing plates and toasting with an Aperol Spritz Antibes gave us space to unwind and connect as a family a memory we’ll always cherish

We were asked to help to remodel and transform two condo units into one penthouse, uniting the spaces by including touches of French sensibility and classic, Eastern European elegance Over a palette of cool blues, grays, and lilacs, we layered fine-finished woods, natural granite finishes, metallics, and lush jewel toned fabrics
The kitchen a marble-topped kitchen island that would not be out of place in a Provencal kitchen In the dining room we paired Romantic chandeliers and chairs with a modern, geometrically detailed dining table Tufted, velvet chairs sit nestled beneath a crystal chandelier in an arrangement perfect for conversing, while a second seating area awaits for conversations more appropriate for a tête-à-tête
