WORLD OF CRIMSON

A NOTE FROM CHERYL
Louie and I’s trip to Marrakech fulfilled a life long dream of mine to go to Morocco
I have always been inspired by the architecture, the culture, and people of that country Spending a week there with close friends, business owners, and designers made it all the richer I cannot wait to take the girls and explore the rest of the country (and bring back a container of treasures!)
Staying at Dar El Sadaka was a gift of inspiration, rest, and experiencing beauty in all the ways
From every meal, to unique experiences on the property, were unlike anything I have experienced at any 5 star resort
The daily discovery of creative sculptures was such an inspiration to us The work by talented Jean-François Fourtou made you think of space and scale, and to live every day with a childlike wonder Thank you Nissirine and staff for curating the most magical trip for all of us I cannot wait to be back!
The architecture of each building was breathtaking with its intricate detail, bold colors, and beautiful patterns. The tile work and craftsmanship that goes into it is a lost art. It is no secret that we are greatly inspired by global design, and Morocco is one of our most prominent inspirations This incredible trip will continue to inspire us and our designs for a long while

A TASTE OF MARRAKESH
The food scene in Morocco offered Cheryl and Louie a true taste of the country’s rich culture and hospitality Each day began with a traditional Moroccan breakfast warm, savory pancakes served with soft cheese, local honey, and olives Of course, no morning was complete without a cup of tea, a daily ritual that’s as much about connection as it is about refreshment
Lunches and dinners often centered around the iconic tagine slow-cooked dishes of tender lamb, chicken, or vegetables, seasoned with preserved lemon, saffron, cumin, and sweet touches like dried apricots or prunes These meals were hearty, flavorful, and satisfying
Throughout their trip, Cheryl and Louie were struck by how food is woven into every part of Moroccan life shared, celebrated, and always offered with warmth Whether dining in a quiet courtyard or family-style with friends, each meal became a cherished part of their experience
