That was where he got to meet and interact with some of the black academia of that time like our former Miss SA Jacqui Mofokeng while based at Wits the political uprising continued in our country as history is told The Student resident where they lived had a public phone where they could reserve calls from other comrades and continue their work in the struggle of the liberation of our country a lot of his friends died during those times but life went on as Mr Ngcobo recalled.

These are some of the untold stories of our people who lived through that period of our history they later killed more of his fellow comrades and one lady he recalls as “zandile “ who just dissappered out of the blue and she was great help to them they later heard she was killed while the police were trying to retrieve information from her which she didn’t release which lead to her death ,even under those challeges mr Ngcobo managed to complete three degrees at Wits University including His Hounours Sociology Development and Honours In Public Policy and Public Administration

FASHION IS THE ARMOR TO SURVIVE THE REALITY OF EVERYDAY LIFE

Mr. Nkosi was born and bred in Jabulani Soweto just outside Johannesburg CBD, Gauteng. He went to school in Jabulani both in Primary and Secondary. As ayoungboy,Mr.Nkosihadsomuchpassionforrugby that he decided to pursue it and went to The Sharks AcademyinDurban.Thingsdidnotgoaccordinglyat theRugbyacademythenhedecidedtoopenanother leaf of life that is where the GP Clothing Brand was born.Althoughbeingarugbyplayerwashisfavourite , he had to look at another countenance off life or initiateanameforhimself.Theclothingbrandwasan idea that came overnight since there was nothing much he could do by then. Going Places was first named Gauteng province but for the sake o growing the brand, he had to change the name to avoid restrictions for people outside the Gauteng province or the Country. He initially got the inspiration from his mothersincesheusedtosewfromtimetotimewhich hebelievesthatitrunsinthebloodline.Mr.Nkosiisthe mainmancurrentlyinhisclothingbrand, thebrandis notmainlyaboutfashionbutlifestylehenceitismore unique when compared to the competitors. Mr GP

After all, currently, they are still using a backroom for everything The above-mentioned are the challenges GP encounters currently and Mr Nkosi is trying, by all means, to work his fingers to the bone and to burn the midnight oil if he has to for the brand to be well recognized and easily accessible They say “a Man without weak or strong points is a non-living thing”, Mr Nkosi refers to his friendliness and good communication skills as one of his strong points because he believes that’s a good way to develop or physique relationships with clients and spreading the word about GP clothing brand “When It comes to the business I cannot say I have someone who inspires me but since I’m so much surrounded by celebrities, that is an inspiration itself and which helps me keep going so that on one of the good days I can be like them,” said Mr. Nkosi. People tend to look at you and see you prospering in life and want to be like you neglecting the fact that whatever you are doing might not be their passion. “Do it Because you love it not because someone else is doing it, one day it might collapse but because you are in it for the money you end up struggling to get it into its feet again. “My advice to people who are inspired by me is that whatever you put your mind and energy it will work out, what you put in is what you get out” he concluded.
