Its never been about women in positions it is about putting a capable skilled women in positions otherwise it remains a ticking box exercising and is the woman put making a significant contribution in their sectors of employment even Equity is very important are the women being paid equally respected /listened to or are they voiceless within their positions and are they seen and not heard if we put a woman in a room today and allowed them to have a conversation will they all say they are heard and remunerated within their sectors and treated equally as their male colleges or will we have a different conversation.

In the following, we learn about a self-taught graphic designer who made it to the top outside the classroom in the industry. The young man worked with sparse few individuals who are well known from different industries.
By Xilaveko RinganiA 23 year old hard working and freelance graphic designer Emanuel Mudau was born and bred in a very small village called Mapate just outside Thohoyandou, Venda in Limpopo Emanuel is a self taught graphic designer who learned how to design through the internet (YouTube) He grew fond of being a graphic designer in the year 2019 when he went on YouTube and taught himself how to design from scratch. This is an incredible experience for someone like him who did not go to school for graphic designing and it actually worked for him because ever since then he worked with quite a number of celebrities to name a few, Cooper Pabi, Master KG, Boohle, Kelly Khumalo, Musa Keys and many more
Besides being a graphic designer, Emanuel is a student at the University of South Africa pursuing a degree in LLB “ As a self taught graphic designer I saw it best to have something to fall back on whenever it no longer works out because I believe having a qualification that will always have your back is everything”, Emanuel said As much as Emmanuel is doing Graphic Designer as a side hustle he still believes in growing in the industry and he has people that he is looking up to like, Screezy and Tumusang Sithole Emmanuel admires these graphic designers because they have worked with people he has been gunning for ever since he started his journey in the industry Other than working with people that Emmanuel has not yet worked with, these graphic designers are true to themselves and they did whatever it took for them to be where they are today, “THEY ARE THE REASON I AM STILL STANDING TODAY”, Emmanuel said
Emmanuel started marketing himself via WhatsApp, where he started by marketing local artists, people were sharing his work all over up to where he actually got recognized by his target markets As a designer that is not qualified, Emmanuel still sees it best for people who a passionate about designing to go to school for it and get a qualification because you won’t be able to work with big brands without a qualification no matter how good you can be as a Graphic Designer Saying no is one of his greatest weakness and people seems to take advantage of it His strength is that each and every gig that he gets to design something he does his level best so that he can always rely on n should keep him going whenever he encounters any difficulties Inno Morolong is one of the best clients he ever worked with because whenever there is work, she doesn’t give him problems, rather she gives him space to do his work in peace so that he can be able to deliver quality He is also her personal graphic designer, he designs for them every day
A piece of advice to young people out there from Emmanuel is that if there is something you are good at, andyoubelieveinitworkyour fingers to the bone to ensure thatitbecomesasuccess.
. ”it is not an easy journey but with the help of God and being patient, it keeps me going,” said Emanuel.
