Our firm’s founder, Ralph Adams Cram (1863-1942), developed American religious architecture to a high art. This rich tradition continues today in the contemporary work of Cram and Ferguson Architects, LLC. Our team uses the firm’s historic assets—an archive of drawings, photographs and details from hundreds of churches and academic buildings —to shape and inform our current projects. Traditional aesthetics are combined with current technology to craft timeless, beautiful, durable and functional houses of worship. These methods have allowed us at Cram and Ferguson to revive methods and details that have seemed lost until now.
