Brooklyn Clarice Yearsley
Brooklyn Clarice Yearsley, 11 years old, a resident of Gooding, passed away on October 27, 2023 near Gooding. Brooklyn Clarice Yearsley was born on March 20, 2012 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Douglas and Kathryn Yearsley. She was raised in Gooding, Idaho. Heaven gained a beautiful new angel who brought so much love, light and joy into our family. She was an amazing big sister to her little sister. She loved animals and could often be found outside playing with her dogs or cats and especially her horses. She loved to sing, play piano and violin. Brooklyn loved to be creative with art material. Her love for our Heavenly Father would shine through her hugs and kind words to those around her. She is survived by her father - Douglas Lyn Yearsley, mother - Kathryn R. Yearsley, and sister - Raedi Kathryn Yearsley. Funeral service for Brooklyn was held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gooding. Burial followed at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel. Brenda Jo Weaver
Brenda Jo Weaver, 64, a resident of Wendell, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls. Brenda Jo Slade was born April 3, 1959 to William and Wylene Slade in Yuma, Arizona on a very unseasonably hot day, even for Yuma! She went through her freshman year of school, then moved at the age of 15 to Wendell, Idaho, where her parents had a farm. She met her high school sweetheart and eternal soul mate Wade Weaver. Brenda Graduated from Wendell High School in 1977. Then she got an Associate’s Degree in Business from Steven Henagar Business School in Ogden, Utah in 1978. When Wade returned from his Hong Kong Mission they reconnected and were sealed for time and all eternity on February 15, 1980 in the Logan Utah Temple. She was loved and will be missed dearly by friends and family. She is survived by: her husband - Wade Weaver of Wendell; and her four children - Whitney (Robert) Lamm of Wendell, Travis (Stephanie) Weaver of Jerome, Cory (Afton) Weaver of Gooding, Rachel (Richard) Gaver of Jerome; and 12 grandchildren; 3 brothers - Larry, Jeff, Kevin Slade; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents - William and Wylene Slade; and a granddaughter - Emma Lamm. A graveside service will be held at the Wendell Cemetery on Wednesday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m. Funeral services are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Wendell Chapel.
