WebelievethatparticipatinginorapprovingofanyformofsexualactivityforbiddenintheBible (includingunmarriedsex,adultery,homosexualorbisexualbehavior,andpornography)issinfuland oensivetoGod(Matt.15:18–20;Rom.1:24–32;1Cor.6:9–10).

TheologymustbeScripturallygrounded.God’slife-givingspeechrevealstousHissalvationandcalls ustofaithandrepentance Wewereoncedarkness,butnowwearelightintheLord(Eph 5:8) Satan blindsthemindsofunbelievers,lesttheyseethelightofthegospelofthegloryofChrist(2Cor.4:4). YetwemustbebornoftheSpiritinordertoseeGod’skingdom(John3:5).OnlythroughtheSpirit workingbyandwiththeScripturesinourheartscanwewalkinthelightwiththeGodwhoislight(1 John1:7).

SolusChristus

TheologymustbeChristfocused WeshouldbelieveeverythingScriptureteachesusbecauseitisGod’s Word(John8:47).ChrististhemainpointoftheBible,andthewholeBibletestiestoHim(John 5:39;Luke24:27;1Peter1:10–12).WithouttheSpirit,wecouldnotreceiveGod’stestimonyin Scripture;withoutChrist,evenGod’swordscannotsaveus.TheologyisChrist-focusedbecauseno onecomestotheFatherapartfromHim(John14:6)andbecausetheSpiritseekstoglorifyHimfor oursalvation(John16:8–14).JesusistrulyGodandtrulyman.HealonecanreconcileGodandman, killinganimosityandcreatingfriendship(Gen.3:15).TheFatheriswellpleasedwithHisSon(Mark 1:11),andHeiswellpleasedwithusonlywhenweareintheSon(Eph.1:6).JesusalonecansaveHis peoplefromtheirsins(Matt 1:21)becauseHealoneistheirProphetrevealingtothembyHisWord andSpiritthewillofGodfortheirsalvation;HealoneistheirPriestwhooeredHimselfasasacrice tosatisfydivinejusticeforthem;andHealoneistheirKingwhosubduesthemtoHimself,rulesand defendsthem,andrestrainsandconquersallHisandtheirenemies(WSC24–26).Thereisno fellowshipwithGodapartfromChrist,andwecountallthingslosscomparedtotheexcellenceofthe knowledgeofChristJesusourLord(Phil 3:8)

SoliDeoGloria

TheologymustbeGod-dominated EachofthethreepersonsoftheTrinitysavesusinharmonious unityinawaythatleadstoworshipallthreedivinepersons.WehavefellowshipwiththeSoningrace, withtheFatherinlove,andwiththeHolySpiritinstrengthandcomfort(2Cor.13:14;Acts9:31). Attendance

VeritasAcademyhasintentionallysetitsvacations,schedule,andstructuretoallowimportanttimefor families. ByregisteringachildinVeritasAcademy,theparentorguardianisagreeingtothisschedule anditislovingtothecommunityofstudentstobeinattendance. Emergenciesorimportantfamily timearise fromtime-to-time;thereforestudentshavesixacademicdays*withineachsemesterfor schoolabsenceswithoutconsequencetotheircreditsunlesspre-approvalsarearranged. Weaskthat theAdministrationbenotiedassoonaspossibleforanyabsences.Astudentthatsurpasses12days,or atotalofsix(6)daysinasemesterwillbesubjecttoanEducationCouncilreviewwhichmayresult retainment, apaidtutoringsupplement,orthestudentnotbeinginvitedback
