Working in your Community – April 2022 OUR WORKS AT 1 GOLDEN LANE Who are KpH Deconstruction? KpH are a specialist Strip Out and Enabling Contractor operating in London and The South East. Typically, the types of work we undertake are the complete Strip Out of buildings back to core, removal of walls, suspended ceilings and partitions, uplifting floor screed, concrete cutting/sawing and structural demolition and dismantling. It is not possible to carry out works without it producing some noise, and whilst we take all necessary measures tomitigate this, we understand that there may likely be some disruption. Our KPH operatives have experience working in close proximity to neighbouring properties such as this and understand the need to be considerate totheir surroundings. Please be assured that we take every step possible to ensure this is kept to a minimum and utilise various tools and techniques to achieve that goal. Communication with tenants and stakeholders will be actively encouraged to ensure that any concerns are dealt with quickly and effectively.
Our strip out works at 1 Golden Lane are progressing very well and the works are still ongoing. We have been asked to carry out some additional works on the project. From Wednesday 13th April 22 we will have significantly less waste removal/collections leaving site and could be as little as 2 waste collections per day. We are committed to ensuring that waste removals will not take place until 10.30am and no later than 4pm in the afternoon. This will continue until our extended completion on Friday 29th April 22. The following works have been planned for the next few weeks: •
Plasterboard ceiling removal in the lift lobbies
•
Vermiculite removal for site surveys
•
Partitions removal in WC’s area
Noise monitoring will be undertaken throughout the duration of our works and is constantly reviewed to ensure that is remains compliant with The City of London regulations. Our Hours on site are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm (albeit operativeswill arrive from 7.30am for registration and inductions. Saturday from 8am– 2pm, albeit work will not commence until 9am. We have arranged for deliveries to site to be scheduled after 8am to mitigate any early morning disturbance to our residential neighbours. All of the above being said we are making extra effort to ensure that the first waste load of each day contains lighter materials, therefore the likelihood is it will produce less noise reverberation for the surrounding neighbours.
