MergeDocs are particularly useful for creating multiple documents that share a common structure but contain unique data for each recipient or instance. These can then be exported and distributed as required.

Project Scope

Creating a MergeDoc through Assurance involves the following steps: 1. Template Creation: Create a Word document that serves as the template. This template includes placeholders (merge fields) where the Assurance data will be inserted.

2. Data Source: Attach the template to Assurance that contains the information to be merged.

3. Merge Process: Produce the MergeDoc by combining the data with the template, generating individual documents for each record in the data source.

In this project, you will learn how you can use the Assurance MergeDoc functionality to create customised documents and reports, relevant to your organisation.
