Leadership is lifting a person ' s vision to high sights, the raising of a person ' s performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.

WORK EXPERIENCE
WITH...
It is a requirement for Colleges to introduce their students to work experience and students are required to fulfil a certain amount or work experience hours each year. We have cleverly combined Complete Academy with Complete Coaching who offer a number of different services in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. Complete Coaching delivers specialist sports in Football, Netball, Basketball and Dance. We also deliver a PE curriculum, before and after school clubs, lunchtime supervision and wrap around care within a number of local schools. We are the only College who can plan a students schedule to have those work experience hours integrated into their timetable.

PAID PART-TIME WORK

WITH...
We can then offer the students part-time work (even during the typical college hours) so this could be a college but also a part time paid job. A unit that the students study is "Preparing for a career in sport" and during this unit, the students prepare for an interview with a company and we help the devise a cover letter and a CV. For those learners that want the part-time work, we hold a real interview with a Complete Coaching Director which then makes the unit become very real and in turn learners can be offered a part-time role within the company, which once again can be scheduled around their college hours.

TYPICAL WEEK
Students are expected to attend pre season sessions and matches throughout August (except when on holiday) and the programme officially starts in September and will finish at the end of June. Typically a day will start at 9am or the lastest 10:30 depending on your chosen study and the requirement to resit Maths and/or English. Our timetable is very flexible and may change throughout the year but this is rare and plenty of notice is given when this may occur.

CASE STUDIES
I started as hot-tempered teenager I left a confident young man. I used to get really frustrated when I couldn’t do something or do it as well as other people could do it. My confidence was really low I wouldn’t even bother with some of the harder tasks that was set then I would get angry at myself then take it out on other people. The coaches at complete never gave up on me sometimes I don’t know how they didn’t as I did not make it easy for them. So they would take me aside let me vent and then help me see why it didn’t always work out in the way I wanted it to. They explained everyone has their own strengths it just learning how to enhance yours and the lessons i learned at complete has help me complete an apprenticeship in the job I have been for four years now and I’m slowly progressing my way through the company
- Peter MarneyMy time at complete was full of personal development both on and off the field. The coaches really helped push me every day to want to improve myself as a player and a person. They would spend lots of extra time both on the field working hard in extra goalkeeping and fitness sessions, but also in the classroom to help me achieve the best grades I could. Before joining Complete I had no intention in pursuing the opportunity to study and play Soccer abroad in America, but thanks to Complete that opportunity was opened and I was given the opportunity to go on a life changing experience in America to play Soccer on a Scholarship. It was life changing and I now see my future in America for the rest of my life. This would not have been possible to complete without the support of the Staff and for that I will be forever grateful

Football was all i wanted to do and was my passion from a very young age. During school all i wanted to do was play. When the opportunity of joining Complete came up, i knew straight away it was the best place for me as i could train and play everyday and still gain qualifications. Towards the back end of my time at Complete, i had changed so much as a student, a footballers and more importantly as a person.

The coaches at Complete has a-lot of contacts and managed to get me a trial at Fulham Football Club, this 6 week trial turned into an extended 6 week trial and i wasn't taken on as i wasn't better or worse than the strikers they already had. At first it was a knock back but the support i got from Kris and his team was amazing and they motivated me to continue pushing and from that i got an 100% scholarship in the USA
