Claymills Victorian Pumping Station

Claymills is a restored steam powered pumping station at Stretton, near Burton upon Trent, which was used to pump sewage and brewery waste from the town. Now in its 30th anniversary year of restoration from dereliction, with many extra events to celebrate.

NEXT EVENT:

30th Anniversary Steaming

On the weekend of October 28th & 29th, we will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Trust. For this special occasion, we will be running all four beam engines together, which we believe may be the first time since the engines were installed. We are also expecting four traction engines to be visiting for the weekend. Musical entertainment on Saturday will be from a Jazz band and on Sunday a Ukulele band.
