FLHS and Frederick scores Fort Lupton HS scores Soccer Fort Lupton’s two-week break from the season didn’t seem to cause an early problem. The Bluedevils shut out Valley 9-0 on the Vikings’ pitch Sept. 14. No stats were available for the Bluedevils. Eagle Valley downed the Bluedevils 4-1 Sept. 15 in Fort Lupton. No stats were available. Volleyball University downed Fort Lupton 254, 25-9, 25-17 on the Bluedevils’ floor Sept. 16. Payton Faulhaber had four of the Bluedevils’ kills. Alissa Clark. added three. Logan Conlin and Aesha Alrashed had six kills for UHS. Cross country Fort Lupton’s Kimberly Campbell placed 87th in the girls race at the Loveland Sweetheart Invitational meet Sept. 17. She posted a time of 25:41. In the boys race, freshman Blake Hayen wound up 112th and posted a time of 23:03. Softball Fort Lupton’s win streak sits at four after the Bluedevils doubled up Weld Central 6-3 in Fort Lupton Sept. 16. The Bluedevils routed Thornton 18-1 in Colorado League play Sept. 14. No stats were available for either game. Frederick HS scores Volleyball Frederick’s winning streak hit 10 matches in a row after a 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 home-floor win over Pomona Sept. 13. Kinley Lindhardt had 14 kills to pace the Warriors. Katelin Sindelar added a dozen. No stats were available for the Panthers. FHS’ 11th straight win was a 25-17, 23-25, 28-26, 25-20 win over Berthoud Sept. 14 in Frederick. Lindhardt had 19 kills for the Warriors. Sindelar added 12. Delaney Frank contributed seven kills and added four assists. Win No. 12 in a row came at the expense of Thompson Valley Sept. 16 by scores of 25-11, 18-25, 25-16, 2725. Lindhardt (16 kills) and Sindelar (q13 kills) led the way for FHS.

Thompson Valley shut out Frederick 7-0 in Loveland Sept. 15. Six of the seven matches lasted the minimum two sets. The other match was a default win for the Eagles. Cross country Frederick’s Mikenna Hoffman finished 35th in the St. Vrain Cross Country meet at Lyons High School. She posted a time of 21:17.7. Alexis Torres (176th, 28:34.9), Ashlyn Torres (180th, 28:57.5), Madison Mahan (222nd, 36:45.5) and Juliauna Bell (224th, 39:02.9) rounded out the Warriors’ contingent. On the boys side, Chase Svela took 55th place with his time of 18:20.7. The rest of the top five included Alexander Carillo (70th, 18:44.6), Garrett Colvin (147th, 20:23.5), Brandt Hartman (189th, 21:50.2) and Darren Reynolds (191st, 21:52.).
