The new CoGoP HR People Team will be central to the Corporate Services of the Trust, providing strategic and operational HR advisory service in order to support the National Bishop, Board of Trustees and employees. The team will strive to achieve HR Compliance by responding to the strategic, internal and external challenges of the Church. How will we do this? §
Provide support to local churches with advertising and recruitment for employed vacancies and volunteer roles
§
Provide support with, job descriptions and job specifications
§
Delivery of Main Statement of Terms and Conditions of service for employees
§
Support with Pastoral Transitions
§
Maintain the Bright HR Database, systems and processes
§
Provide support with Attendance Management including Annual Leave, Sabbaticals and Short- and Long-term sickness. It is essential the blurring of boundaries between ministerial life and personal life is not crossed. All employees and volunteers need to make time for their own self-care and ensure a healthy work/life balance, in order to thrive and flourish in health and wellbeing.
