This month, we are excited to highlight Jane as our Volunteer Spotlight. Nominated by the Stansell House staff, Jane is a dedicated patient care volunteer whose compassion and kindness leaves a lasting impact on both our patients and their families Staff have shared how Jane is always “very caring and compassionate,” taking the time to sit and talk with patients, offering hand massages, reading to them, and listening to their life stories without ever putting a time limit on her visits. She consistently expresses concern for their well-being, making each patient feel heard and valued Jane’s support extends to the families as well, providing comfort and reassurance when needed She’s also always ready to assist staff, whether by filling water pitchers or lending a helping hand wherever possible. We are incredibly grateful for Jane’s dedication and the warmth she brings to our team Thank you, Jane, for your unwavering support and the positive impact you have on everyone you interact with.
