We had a wonderful time at our Summer Open House on Monday, July 14th at the Stansell House It was a joy to gather with our dedicated volunteers and staff, sharing in fellowship and celebrating the mission that brings us together. Events like these remind us of the strong community behind the care we provide Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support our work with such compassion and heart.

Can you believe summer is almost over? Time has flown, and I’m so grateful for the way you ’ ve embraced change and supported our new coordinators. Your flexibility and generosity are what keep our mission moving forward. We’re now shifting gears and getting ready for the fall and winter responsibilities, and we ’ re excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for continuing to make such a meaningful impact.

Coastal Hospice is seeking friendly and dependable volunteers to serve as “Welcome Ambassadors” at our inpatient facilities.

This month, we are proud to shine our Volunteer Spotlight on Michelle Winemiller, nominated by the staff at the Stansell House.

Michelle is the perfect example of what a hospice volunteer should be compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to our mission. She goes above and beyond for both our Stansell House and home care patients, always ensuring our veterans are honored with the dignity they deserve.

Michelle enters each visit with a warm smile and a kind heart, often spending time reading with patients or simply being present with them and their loved ones Her support brings comfort not only to patients but to our staff as well From her meaningful visits to her beautiful holiday decorating especially our Christmas trees Michelle is truly a treasured part of the Coastal Hospice family.
