Introduction Clarence Valley Council’s Workforce Management Strategy outlines our commitment to ensuring the Council has the capacity, capability, skills and sustainability within its workforce to deliver positive outcomes for the organisation and ultimately the community by meeting the objectives of the Community Strategic Plan. The Workforce Management Strategy, together with the AMS and LTFP, provides the resources necessary to achieve the Council’s Delivery Program and Operational Plan, which support our Community Strategic Plan. It aligns with and supports our key planning and strategy documents to ensure that we have a capable, skilled, engaged and sustainable workforce in order to deliver on our commitments. This strategy meets the Division of Local Government’s IP&R requirements where assets, finances and the workforce are planned in an integrated framework. It identifies high-level issues and themes and provides a strategic framework to guide our people management strategies over the next four years.
