CLOSES CITY BUILDINGS AND MODIFIES SERVICES

In an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our community members and staff due to the threat caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19), the City closed its facilities to the public on March 19, 2020 through April 30, 2020. The closure is subjected to extensions. The closure includes City Hall, Senior Center, Community Center, City Yard, Mini Center, New Temple Park, Mary Van Dyke Park, Civic Center Parks and the Public Safety Center. Despite the closure, certain City essential services will still be provided as detailed below. City officials continue to monitor the situation and provide updates through the City’s website at cityofsouthelmonte.org and on the City’s Facebook page. Additionally, in an effort to respond to any concerns or questions our residents or businesses may have, the City has set up a COVID-19 HOTLINE dedicated to address COVID-19 issues at (626) 652-6800.
