The 15th annual Carrollton Festival at the Switchyard features family-friendly concerts, a beer garden, Festival booths, a variety of food vendors, unique shopping opportunities, and a FREE activity area for kids with rides, games, live entertainment, face painting, and more.

Historic Downtown Carrollton, 1106 S. Broadway Street, is located off IH-35E at Belt Line Road, just steps away from the Downtown Carrollton Station on DART’s Green Line.

The Festival honors the critical role the railroad played in putting Carrollton on the map and the continuing importance of rail in Carrollton’s present and future. Since its inception in 2010, the event has introduced hundreds of thousands of people to the phenomenal businesses, amenities, and unique characteristics that Carrollton offers.
The City has received more than 50 awards for the coordination, production, and promotion of the Festival from state and national organizations such as the International Festivals & Events Association, City-County Communications & Marketing Association, and many others.
