Unification of the Teaching Material

Jundiaí’s Municipal Education maintains numerous educational programs and projects that enable excellence in teaching provided. Every year, new teaching units are constructed and/or reformed to better fit the real needs of students.

Offering educational materials appropriate for each age group and investing in training for public school teachers, Jundiaí’s teaching is excellent. Since the first year of elementary school students take English classes and have a unified teaching material.

This year, the city completed the second edition of the International Congress on Education of Jundiaí. Held at Parque da Uva, this year’s theme was: “The (Re) Discovery of Play: Experiences, links and values for life.” In the event, several lectures on the subject were given. The target audience of the event was the teachers and other professionals in the field of education.

Grade Ten School Program

The goal of the Programa Escola Nota Dez is 100% literacy of their children until the age of eight. All students in public schools receive free teaching materials from the City of Jundiai, which contributes to a unified education and the success of the program.

With two teachers in the classroom in the first year of elementary school, assistance to the students in this age group is full. They go through an annual assessment, which demonstrates the efficiency of the Program and guides the professionals involved in their implementation, which direction to go.

Education

The Programa Escola Nota Dez ensures the quality of teaching in Jundiaí. By partnering with major foundations such as Fundação Bradesco, Vanzolini and Instituto Mathema the Escola Nota Dez is a true success.

Municipal Language Center

The Municipal Language Center “Antonio Houaiss” is a benchmark in Jundiaí’s educational area and has about two thousand students enrolled.

Since its inception, it has attracted increasing interest in the language courses. The minimum age to enroll in these courses is 14 years. The Municipal Language Center offers courses in: English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.

The courses offered are entry-level divided into four stages. Classes are held in the morning, afternoon and evening. The total duration is 2 years.

Essay Olympics

Students in public schools can apply for the Jundiaí’s municipal Writing Olympics and win prizes.

This year, the Olympics celebrated its sixth edition with many enrollments made. Besides the Jundiaí students from the cities of Caieiras and Franco da Rocha will also participate.

Attention to Children from 0 to 3 years

Jundiaí’s City Hall now serves about 90% of children in the county from 0-3 years. The investments made in municipal day care do not stop. Every year new nurseries are built thus increasing the number of vacancies.

With this measure, the city has been reaching its goal of serving all children in this age group. Thus, mothers can go to work in full tranquility.
