FPUA / City have agreed to maintain the current agreement with a proactive approach by FPUA to inspect each City light as needed. Currently, we are inspecting quarterly to gauge the frequency necessary for a successful program. All efforts are being billed per contract. There is a special effort currently underway with City / FDOT for the lighting along S A1A. We will have a plan in place for the repair / replacement of those lights within the next 2 months.

Funding opportunities are being explored for proposed sidewalk extensions connecting schools and other signification facilities. One section being proposed is Nebraska Avenue and Lawnwood Circle, which lies between Dan McCarty Middle School and Lawnwood Hospital. Funding is being proposed through the St. Lucie TPO, preliminary plans, cost estimates and grant applications will be prepared to be submitted in the first quarter of 2023.

o Downtown conduit for Phase 1 is about 90% complete. Plan to pull fiber in the next 30 days.

o Early stages of potential customer contact for early on-boarding of service.

o Meeting planned for week of December 5 to finalize MOU for Kiosk Vendor (FPUA / City) • AMI – Currently, AMI vendor has been unable to deliver any substantial materials for the AMI system for over a year due to supply chain issues. Prices for the AMI materials continue to climb with no performance by the vendor to meet delivery requirements. FPUA / Honeywell currently in negotiations to strengthen our understanding of Honeywell’s ability to deliver materials at agreed upon prices and understanding our options as a utility if that is not the case. This situation is the same for all AMI programs in Florida due to lack of materials. AMI is currently fully funded due to the recent bond.
