COMMUNITY ORIENTED POLICING (COP): Develops partnerships that work toward a common goal of crime reduction. FRONT PORCH ROLL CALLS: Officers intermingle with residents and business owners. SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER (SRO) PROGRAM Provides leadership and mentorship for students and ensures a safe environment. MOBILE CLASSROOM Utilizes a converted vehicle as a mobile classroom offer education to students. COURAGEOUS KIDS PROGRAM: Builds relationships between officers and youth. COURAGE FOR LIFE (AN EXTENSION OF COURAGEOUS KIDS): Police officers are more visible in the community by mentoring students. RESOURCES IN COMMUNITY HOPE (R.I.C.H.) HOUSE: A safe haven in the heart of Lincoln Park that provides activities for all ages. PARK AND WALK: Officers, Sergeants, and Lieutenants walk in a neighborhood interacting with citizens.
