INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY The Information Technology (IT) Department is responsible for enterprise-wide communication and information technology. This entails supporting, providing, and maintaining business systems, network services, workflow automation, client services and voice communications all while continuously developing innovative strategies for the future. IT’s mission is to provide technology solutions that enable city staff to deliver services to the Fort Pierce community. You might not see us every day, but we are continuously working behind the scenes to drive, improve, maintain and secure technologies that run our city.

CLICK2GOV: Continue to implement, enhance, and provide technological applications and services via the Internet that provide ease of public access to information and online payment methods for local government services as requested from the public.

ONLINE HELP DESK: The on-line help desk provides "always available access" for support and assistance to all staff. This also allows the collection of metrics to determine training and procedural improvement needs for all staff needs.

IMPROVEMENT OF FPTV: Providing consistency in lineup and rebroadcast times with more meaningful community based programming and original programming. ONGOING
