Circle-Lets, Inc. A Message From Our National President! Dear Circle-Lets, As we look forward to the 2016 Conclave in Chicago, let us first look back over the rich history of Circle-Lets and take time to remember those who have worked tirelessly to make Circle-Lets what it is today. We cannot look at the past without honoring our Founders, Vivienne Malone Mayes and Doris Bell Bass Daniels. All of us stand on the shoulders of these two ladies who founded our organization on September 18, 1955. From their leadership, the National Presidents (see list below) took the helm of this organization and guided us through decades of friendship and love. We honor and thank them by dedicating this issue to our Past National Presidents (please see photos of several of these ladies on the back cover). We are also honoring members who have been in our “Circle” for fifty (50) or more years! Please join me in thanking these ladies for being the foundation of their chapters (please see photos inside). Our look back at the past only reinforces our future, which shines brighter as we continue with our tradition of enhancing friendships in our Circle! And, there’s no better way to keep the tradition going than to meet me in Chicago, July 21-24, as we celebrate the 55th Annual Conclave. The Chicago Chapter, let by President Linda C. Chatman, has prepared a fabulous weekend! I look forward to seeing you there! Yours in the Circle,

Greetings Circle-Lets from Wilhelmina, Cross Country Editor In this issue read exciting news: • Tribute to Circle-Lets with 50 years of Membership • Chapters’ News
