welcome to September 23, 2012 We are so glad you are here today! We invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy the service. We want to make your visit to LIFEPOINTE Church very special – and here’s how: You can trust your children (from birth – grade 6) to our AngelPointe and KidzPointe teams. AngelPointe provides quality, loving care for your little ones from nursery to preschool. An atmosphere of fun and belonging has been created in our KidzPointe classes to make your child feel welcome. Any of our greeters can direct you to the children’s area. If you decide to keep your infant or young child with you during the service, please note that the restrooms are outside the back door of the auditorium on the left. Please use the WELCOME card to request any further information about our church or to communicate with us. You can drop it in the offering basket at the end of the service. Please have confidence that no one will drop by your home or call you without being asked. Take advantage of the message notes on the back page of this program. You can use these outline notes to follow along with today’s message.

NEXT SUNDAY – STORIES WILL CONTINUE Join us next weekend as Pastor Chuck continues his new Fall series. The third message in our STORIES series is all about SALVATION.

‘WINNING THE ONE GAME THAT REALLY COUNTS”. No matter how skillfully you play it, a time arrives when the game of life comes to an end. Now all the pieces go back in the box. Game over. The question is: “WHAT DID YOU WIN THAT YOU GET TO KEEP?” This new LifeGroups study shows what it takes to really win at the game of life. This study will help you to live with an eternal perspective, keeping your eyes on the true prize – the one that unlocks the gate to God’s kingdom.

LOL – LADIES OF LIFEPOINTE – COMING UP STORIES OF FAITHFULNESS Just then a religion scholar stood up with a question to test Jesus. “Teacher, what do I need to do to get eternal life?” He answered, “What’s written in God’s Law? How do you interpret it?” He “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man . . . so I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant . . . you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags” (Matthew 25:14-28 – NIV)

“What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ “‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. “Which of the two did what his father wanted? “The first,” they answered. (Matthew 21:28-31 – NIV)

Principle of ACTION: God honors my actions not my ___________________

I want to hear you say words to me, “Well done”. I want to hear you say, “Good and faithful servant”. I want to hear you say “I’ve prepared a place for you”. Let all the treasures of this world fade away. Jesus, you are my reward, to hear your voice on that day is all I’m living for. Jesus, you are my reward, to see your face on that day is all I’m living for.
