A Pattern For Living

We as Christians have not been left without a template to follow or a pattern for living. In the Bible, God has TOLD us how to live, through Jesus He has SHOWN us how to live and by His Spirit He has EMPOWERED us to do it! I’ve laid down a pattern for you. What I’ve done, you do. I’m only pointing out the obvious . . . If you understand what I’m telling you, act like it—and live a blessed life. (John 13:15-17 – Msg) I am your example; keep doing what I do. (John 13:15 – The Voice) This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. (1 Peter 2:21 – Msg) Christ suffered for you and left you a personal example, and wants you to follow in his steps. (1 Peter 2:21 – Ph) Jesus left you an example so that you could follow in his footsteps.
