The Challenge

For this project, we were required to design a logo for a provided company name, as well as choose what type of business Vocé21 would be. We were also required to incorporate a tagline into the logo. For my portfolio, I decided to redo this project and redesign the logo.

The Big Idea

I chose the brand name Vocé21 and chose to create it as a premium clothing and accessories brand. For my redesign of this logo, I went back to the original sketches I drew when I was assigned this project and digitized one of my previous logo sketches.

The Road to Success

I was able to design this final new Vocé21 logo with little issue, as when I worked on this project originally this design was my favorite from my sketches. I played around with a few different layouts for this logo before finalizing it with the symbol on top and the name and tagline below it.

Issues on the Way

The biggest issue that I faced with this project was deciding to completely redesign this logo. I originally planned on digitizing the previous version of my Vocé21 logo, but through the process of doing so I ended up not liking the logo, which inspired me to redesign it.

The End Result

I’m extremely pleased with how my logo redesign turned out. The logo feels high class and I can easily imagine this logo attaching itself to a premium fashion and fashion accessories brand.

The Challenge

I created this project for my Spring 2023 Photography class. For this project we were instructed to take a series of five images using the rule of thirds. The main constraint with this project was that each image had to be taken manually.

The Big Idea

I struggled a bit with what I wanted to do for this project at first. Enticed by extra points for having a theme, I ended up basing my photos around my hometown of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I wanted to highlight places in Pawtucket that have had a significance in my life.

The Road to Success

Taking this set of photos was another opportunity for me to get more used to taking pictures in public. I found it rather fun to go around and explore my hometown more than I had in the past.

Issues on the Way

I did not face any major issues with this project. There were some minor issues, such as me not knowing of the diopter adjuster and instead believing that my camera’s viewfinder was damaged.

The End Result

I’m very pleased with how all of my images turned out in the end. I used the rule of thirds in unique and interesting ways and several of my images tell a story of Pawtucket. This has become one of my favorite photography projects and I look forward to creating more.
