Thank you for being part of the CHRIS 180 family! Throughout this festive season, we extend our warmest invitations to youth across our programs and services to reflect on their progress from the past year and share their aspirations for the coming one. Our youth become part of the CHRIS 180 family through so many different experiences. They participate in our SchoolBased Mental Health initiatives, live in our Summit Trail Apartments, where young adults transitioning out of foster care or facing homelessness find a place to call their own, are in our foster care program, receive trauma-informed therapy at our Counseling Centers and more. In the spirit of the holiday season, we are excited to gather these memories and dreams together and celebrate with you the remarkable progress they’ve made and the opportunities that await them in the new year. This booklet offers a glimpse into their gratitude for 2023 and their dreams for 2024. Our dedicated team works tirelessly year-round to meet these youth where they are and understand their needs all while providing the vital support necessary for healing and propelling them towards their goals. It’s through the partnership and generosity of friends like you that we can provide these children and young adults with essential therapy, safe haven and real-world skills, encouraging them to become the individuals they aspire to be. Thanks to your support, they’ll celebrate this season with an abundance of joy and their very own treasured gifts they’ve discovered from within. We take immense pride in this collaborative community effort we have with our partners, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for being part of the CHRIS 180 family. As you read through the resolutions and moments of gratitude within the pages of this book, we invite you to also look inward and reflect on your successes. CHRIS 180 helps children, adults and families who have experienced trauma change the direction of their lives to become more productive, self-sufficient members of the community. We do this through mental health counseling, training, providing safe housing and real-world skill building.
