We do too.

Warm and fuzzy. Supported. Proud. Like you could take on the world.

At CHRIS 180, we believe in celebrating the achievements of the youth we serve. Many of the young people in our programs have been weighed down by trauma. They may feel like people don’t care about them and their accomplishments.

They may not have had the chance to pause and take pride in their progress and celebrate.

No matter how they come to us, CHRIS 180 believes in wrapping every person we serve with the support they need to heal, build positive relationships and take steps toward the future. From young adults experiencing homelessness to youth in our foster homes to students getting therapy to become more resilient, we are proud to be there for them thanks to friends like you. We show them we care by walking beside them as they face challenges.

Every summer, we invite the young people we work with to think about what they are proud of and ask them to write it down. Then, we come together with them for a Celebration of Achievement, an event that recognizes their accomplishments.

We love being their cheerleading section as they make big strides in their mental health, their relationships and their personal goals.

We wanted to share a peek into just how incredible they are by sharing some of their reflections with you, written in their own words.

CHRIS 180 helps children, adults and families who have experienced trauma change the direction of their lives to become more productive, self-sufficient members of the community. We do this through mental health counseling, training, providing safe housing and real-world skill building.
