Willow Maddy Kirkpatrick, who attends St Thomas the Martyr School in Upholland, came up with the idea herself to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity as “everyone knows someone who has been affected by the disease.” The group, ranging in ages from eight to adult, will take part on the fundraiser, which they have named Willow’s Walk, on Sunday, September 26.
