Middle School Golfer Win Cyc Golf Team Championship

Congrats to rising Chaminade Golfers Rogers LaMartina ’27, Parker Rich ’27, Jackson Glover ’27, Evan O’Leary ’27, and Jack Britton ’27 (not pictured) who took home 1st place at the CYC Golf Team Championship over the summer, winning by 5 strokes!

JOHN GUERRA ’23 NAMED TO ALL-METRO FIRST GOLF TEAM

Congratulations to John Guerra ’23 for being named to the All-Metro First Golf Team! Guerra finished 3rd in the Class 5 state tournament, the highest placement for any area golfer in the state’s largest classification.

Students Go On Health Services Mission To Panama

Over the summer, our students went on a Health Service mission and experiential trip to Panama, where they visited a rural, one classroom school in Cocle to provide health screenings, nutritional education, lessons on safe drinking water, parasite medications, and even mixed and poured concrete to build a new meeting area for the school and the community. These men did a great job representing Chaminade and learned the joy of serving others.

CHAMINADE STUDENTS & FACULTY HELP CLEAN UP WHOLE KIDS OUTREACH

Over the summer, a group of students & faculty helped Whole Kids Outreach clean up and prepare their facility for their summer day camp. Thank you to Mr. Massa and Mr. Christian for leading the group and to our Gentlemen for doing a great job representing Chaminade.

In June, Head Basketball Coach Frank Bennett had the opportunity to work with the USA Basketball 17U Team that competed in the FIBA 17U World Cup in Spain this summer.

Congratulations to Trey Cunneen ’24 who was named one of the top swimmers to watch this season by the St. Louis PostDispatch!

The Chaminade Marianist Life Community, or MLC for short, continued its mission of building community over the summer when it attended Marianist LIFE Pacific in Occidental, California, and Marianist LIFE Central in Dayton, Ohio, where they got to meet and build relationships with other Marianist schools. They did a fantastic job representing Chaminade.

CADEN FEHR ’27 WINS METROPOLITAN AMATEUR GOLF ASSOCIATION BOYS TOURNAMENT

Congratulations to Caden Fehr ’27 who won the Metropolitan Amateur Golf Association’s Junior Amateur Boys’ 13 & Under Tournament at Bogey Golf Club in July.

JAKE HORNBERG ’28 & COLIN CUNNEEN ’28 PLAY BALL AT COOPERSTOWN

Over the summer, Jake Hornberg ’28 and Colin Cunneen ’28 were invited to play baseball at historic Cooperstown along with the rest of their team, the Rawlings Tigers.

MATTHEW JUDKINS ’24 QUALIFIES FOR U.S. OPEN

Matthew Judkins ’24 hot streak continued at the Speedo Futures Championships in Minnesota. Judkins won the Gold Medal in the 200M Butterfly and the Silver in the 100M Butterfly, qualifying for the US Open. Awesome work, Matthew!

Chaminade Baseball Wins Middle School Summer Classic

Over the summer, Chaminade 8th graders won the Middle School Summer Classic baseball tournament! They played against numerous other middle schools in the area and came back from a 6-run deficit in the final to win the tournament in extra innings. Congratulations, Gentlemen!

CHAMINADE DRAMA PERFORMS “THE CRUCIBLE”

Congratulations to Chaminade Drama on their fantastic production of Arthur Miller’s classic American thriller, “The Crucible” in October. From the set design to the costumes to the performers themselves, the students did an amazing job with the show.

NIKO BRENNAN ’26 EARNS ALL MERIT BADGES

Congratulations to Niko Brennan ’26 who was recently featured in the Post-Dispatch for earning all 139 merit badges with the Eagle Scouts! At just 14 years old, Niko is the youngest Eagle Scout in his troop to earn all of his merit badges. Awesome work Niko and thank you for representing Chaminade so well!

CHAMINADE PACKS NEARLY 35,000 MEALS FOR HAITI

Thank you to the more than 100 students and family members who participated in Chaminade Feeds Haiti back in August. The families and students packed 34,800 meals that were shipped to Haiti to feed those in desperate need.
