Setting: A Mediterranean Island, sparkling in the iridescent blue of thge Aegean. Ancient and fertile, with a harbor and narrow, winding alley-ways. The buildings are dazzling white, with blue and green shutters; bougainvillea-decked walls and flowered courtyards. The light of the island is dazzling and intense.

The SUMMER NIGHT CITY TAVERNA, named by DONNA for a favorite song, is a short walk from the Harbor. The Island's remoteness keeps it free from too many tourists, but it still attracts the discerning visitor. The TAVERNA is a focal point for guests and locals - 'an undiscovered gem'.

WHO'S WHO Bella Aboulhosn (As Ensemble) Bella is so grateful to take part in Mamma Mia. Recent roles include: Marcellus in Hamlet, Joy in Interlochen's Cinderella, Josie on Spirit Riding Free, and Betty Bumbrake in Peter and the Starcatcher. She would like to thank Yvette, Bill, Lulu, and Dan for their dedication to making this show incredible. She dedicates this show to beloved player Jack Bailey.

Faith Alhadeff (As Donna) Faith is overjoyed to be a part of this incredible production of Mamma Mia! She began her Chaminade Players journey as a freshman and has recently become an assistant producer as well as an assistant head of hair and makeup. She cannot wait to continue her Players journey and would like to thank the creative team for giving her this opportunity!

Dariana Alvarez-Ortiz (As Lisa) Dariana, a junior, is excited to be performing in her 3rd production at Chaminade. She would like to thank Dan, Bill, and Yvette for their tireless work on this production. Dariana dedicates this performance to her mom, dad, and brother who have supported her throughout her life and inspired her passion for the arts. Mamma Mia *with an Italian accent*!

Teddy Bailey (As Pepper) Teddy is a junior at Chaminade, performing his second show and first musical as a Chaminade player. He has formerly played baseball and volleyball, but recently found an appreciation for the arts.

He would like to thank the Yvette and the players for creating such a welcoming environment. Finally, he would like to dedicate this show to his puppy, Moose.

Georgia Besnilian (As Ensemble) Georgia Besnilian, a junior, is ecstatic to be doing her fifth show with the Chaminade Players. Her journey with the Players began her freshman year, and she is now a head of the hair and makeup crew as well. Georgia would like to thank Mrs. Bishop, Dan, Bill, Lulu, and her Chaminade Players family for making this show so memorable.

WHO'S WHO Sawyer Brown (As Sam) Sawyer is incredibly proud to have been a part of the Chaminade Players. He is so thankful to have worked with such a great cast and crew and the blessing it has been to get to know all of them. He would like to thank Yvette, Dan, and Bill, along with his family and friends, especially Sacha, the G squad, and the Avengers, for supporting him along the way. Uh Uh!

Sacha Callis (As Sky) Sacha feels heartbroken writing his final bio as a player. He is grateful to have been a part of this family, and would like to thank Yvette for giving him his home these past four years. He appreciates his family and friends' endless support, including Josh, Sawyer, the G Squad, OORAH, and all of cast/crew. He hopes you love the show as much as he has loved the experience.

Katie Coiteux (As Eddie) Katie, a senior, is happy to be back for her final show with the Players! She began her involvement with the Players as a munchkin in Wizard of Oz her freshman year. She is grateful for the friends she has made in the program and for the memories she has created.

Madison Cheramie (As Ensemble) Madison is excited to be back in person for her last show with the Players. This is her 3rd role in a musical and her first one on stage! She is grateful to her scenic crew, her co-head, Sophia Nations, and the entire Players community for making this show so special.

WHO'S WHO Lauren Effertz (As Sophie) Lauren, a junior, is thrilled to be a part of Mamma Mia, her sixth show with the Players. She would like to thank Yvette, Dan, Bill, Mike, and the Players for this amazing opportunity and their constant encouragement. A special shout out to her parents for their love and support!

Katie Freshman (As Ensemble) Katie, a sophomore, new to the world of theatre, is ecstatic to be performing in her first show. As well as taking part in the hair and makeup crew, Katie is beyond excited to be joining the Chaminade Players family. She would like to thank Yvette, friends, family, and all who have helped to make this possible. She can not wait to see what the future holds!

Laila Gilio (As Ensemble) Laila, a senior, is having her first and last show at Chaminade this year. The Chaminade players are such a wonderful community of like-minded and talented people. She is so lucky and grateful to be a part of the bond that this musical has created.

Alexis Hafner (As Ensemble) Alexis, a senior, is overjoyed to work with the cast and crew of Mama Mia! This is her 9th show with the players, but second involvement in the cast. Her previous role was Alf in Peter and the Starcatcher. Alexis is the co-head of carpentry & fly crew and is a student technical director. She thanks her friends, family, Yvette, and Mike for all their support.

Julia Hart-Boroczi (As Ensemble) Julia, a senior, is thrilled to be a part of her final show with the Players! As crew head, producer, president, and now actress, she is so grateful to the Players for all this stage experience. WHO'S WHO Grace Horn (As Ensemble) Grace is so thankful to be a part of this production of Mamma Mia! Grace is a sophomore and this is her fourth show with the Chaminade Players. She would like to thank the creative team for all their hard work and the opportunity to be part of this wonderful cast and crew. She also thanks her family and friends for supporting her.

Marlowe Jefferson (As Ensemble) Marlowe is a freshman and cannot wait to be a part of her first show with Chaminade, Mamma Mia. Mamma Mia was the first musical she ever saw back in 2011 when she was 6 years old. She hopes you enjoy the show and wants to thank her family for putting up with her singing Abba at all hours if the night.

Ally Judge (As Ensemble) Ally is ecstatic to be in her first show with the Players!

Recent musicals include: Bye Bye Birdie (as Suzie), Elf the Musical Jr. (as Deb), and now Mamma Mia! Many thanks to her mum who she loves and who has supported her so much along her journey as an actress! She also thanks the rest of her family and friends for the support and for being there for her.

Iman Judge (As Ensemble) Iman, a junior, is thrilled to be with the Players as a part Mamma Mia! This is Iman’s seventh show with the Chaminade Players, and her second show as a producer. She is thankful to everyone in the community, Yvette, Bill, Lulu, Dan and Mike for all they do. Iman is also grateful for her friends, her mom and family for their continual support.

WHO'S WHO Dani Letts (As Ensemble) Dani is so excited to be a part of the production of Mamma Mia. This is her first show with the Chaminade Players and she is so excited to be in more in the future. She would like to thank her older sister, Natalie, for always supporting her with her dreams and inspiring her.

Sofia Manpearl (As Ensemble) Sofia, a freshman, is thrilled to be part of her first show with the Chaminade Players. She was involved in drama at the middle school campus, and is so excited to continue her love of acting at the high school! Mack Maravilla (As Ensemble) Mack, a senior, is grateful to be a part of Mamma Mia, as is very thankful that she has the opportunity to dance and perform on stage. Lindsey Marter (As Ensemble) Lindsey, a sophomore, is so excited to be joining the Chaminade Players family! She had such a fun time working on Mamma Mia and would specifically like to thank her family and friends for supporting her throughout its entirety.

Makena Melgoza (As Ali) Makena, a senior, is so excited for her final show with the Chaminade Players! Makena has been so lucky to work with the cast and crew over the years, especially with her Senior Rep. position on Drama Board. WHO'S WHO Brooke Mendes (As Ensemble) Brooke is super excited to be included in the cast of Mamma Mia for her third show. She is thankful to her family for supporting her, the many new friends she had met so far, and to Yvette for giving her this opportunity!

Camille Moss (As Ensemble) Camille is thrilled to be a part of Mamma Mia! She started with the players just last year in Hunchback of Notre Dame as well as the summer show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Camille is tremendously grateful for her family for their constant support, the cast, crew, and everyone involved in the show for their hard work!

Sophia Nations (As Ensemble) Sophia, a senior, is thrilled to join the cast of Mamma Mia for her sixth and final show with the Players! You may know her as the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland, or Gomez in Peter and the Starcatcher (my bad, it’s Sanchéz!) She would like to thank her family, Yvette, and a very fat dog named Daisy.

Ava Newman (As Ensemble) Ava, a sophomore, is overjoyed to be doing another Chaminade players show. She started her Chaminade players journey as Ted from the Peter and the Starcatcher play. She want’s to thank Yvette for this opportunity and her parents for driving her every rehearsal.

Crystal Park (As Backstage Singer) Crystal, a junior, is overjoyed to be with the Players in this year’s production of Mamma Mia and part of Carpentry, one of the tech crews, again. She is has been with the Players since her freshman year and loves the community that the Players gave her.

WHO'S WHO Ryann Schaffer (As Rosie) Ryann is thrilled to be in her fifth production with the Chaminade Players along with Peter and the Starcatcher, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd, and Hamlet. She would like to thank Yvette, Dan, and Bill for all their work and to her family for their support! She also thanks her castmates for bearing with her lack of hand-eye coordination every rehearsal.

Sophia Sedik (As Ensemble) Sophia, a freshman, is so grateful to be a part of her 2nd show with the Players! From being a door in Peter and the Starcatcher, to now being in Mamma Mia, she is so excited to act alongside this amazing cast. Special thanks to her parents, friends, cast members, and Yvette for giving her the opportunity to act again and have the time of her life!

Maggie Shaughnessy (As Ensemble) Maggie, a senior, is incredibly thankful to be involved in this production of Mamma Mia, her last show with the Chaminade Players. She would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support. She would also like to thank Yvette and the rest of the Chaminade Players for making this such a fantastic experience.

Caitlin Shroyer (As Ensemble) Caitlin, a junior, is beyond excited to be a part of her third production at Chaminade. She has been a crew member but is performing on stage for the first time. She would like to thank Yvette for all the hard work she put into the show and Mrs. Ducket for her guidance and help. She also wants to dedicate her performance to her family and friends.

Preston Simpkin (As Harry) Preston is over the moon to be in his 7th show with the Players! Although his last show feels bittersweet, he is so grateful for his time with the players and wants to pursue the arts in the future! WHO'S WHO Wesley Simpkin (As Ensemble) Wesley, a sophomore, is honored and very excited to be performing in Mamma Mia! He has previously worked on The Hunchback of Notre Dame with the Chaminade Players, and is a member of wardrobe, props, and sound crews. He would like to thank his family and the creative team.

Robert Simpson (As Bill) Robert Simpson is incredibly grateful to be a part of Mamma Mia! This is his second show at Chaminade, and he would like to dedicate this performance to his two loving parents and his good friends. See you on the island!

Chase Teglas (As Ensemble) Chase, a freshman, is very excited to be in his first production with the Chaminade Players. CREW WHO'S WHO Jacob Garcia (Production Stage Manager) Jacob is exhilarated to be in his 10th production with the players.

Since joining the Players in his freshman year with The Crucible, he has loved the program and the people within it. He would like to say thank you to his family and the community within the theatre that has made the journey incredible.

Jaccoa Stills (Stage Manager) Jaccoa is so excited to be a stage manager for Mamma Mia, their seventh show with the Players. They are immensely grateful for the support and sense of community that the Players have given them.

Mia Erikson (Stage Manager) Mia, a junior, is excited to work as a stage manager on this production of Mamma Mia. This is her seventh show with the players and she is so grateful for the support from her parents, sister, and all of her friends.

Logan Kailor (Student Technical Director) Logan is now on his ninth and final show with the players. He is one of the heads of the electrics crew, and is a student technical director as well. Currently, Logan is in his Senior year at Chaminade, and is hoping that his final year and show will end on a high note before he moves onto new experiences in college.

END NOTES Dear Patron of the Arts, “I believe in angels Something good in everything I see I believe in angels When I know the time is right for me I’ll cross the stream, I Have a dream.”

How much do we all love ABBA? One song after another speaks to us on one level or another.

“See that girl Watch that scene Diggin the Dancing Queen!”

Maybe, we just want to have fun and sing at the top of our lungs as we forget about everything that is going on in the world.

How wonderful to create art that can allow our community to sing along, smile, tap their feet, dance, cry, slip away to a lovely Greek island where life is expressed through the music of ABBA. We send off our wonderful seniors as they” …cross the stream” into their next dream; we thank them and wish them love and happiness in all their future endeavors.

We thank our dedicated creative team for their tremendous efforts and our Chaminade Players for stepping up to learn how to work in the theatre again.

We thank our team of Drama Mamas who keep us supported and fed in our most stressful hours. And we thank all of our Drama supporters throughout our Chaminade community for understanding how much goes into doing what we do and for the assistance that comes to us from so many.

We continually pray for peace for our world, wisdom for our world leaders as we guide our young artists toward a bright future full of limitless possibilities.

And we thank you, our audience for giving us a reason to do what we do and to be who we are.
